We have gone down to WDW about 3-6 times a year for the last several years, but never stayed on property.
I got into OKW for July 22-29 this year, and have a few questions for all you DVC owners/ regulars!
The first- Can we get the DDP plan? We have the DDE discount we got with our PAP. And it will expire this year 1/2 through the trip.

And I while we did have PAP for the last few years, we did not renew them when the expired at the end of May as we could not get down there then, and I for got to do it befor the 30 day grace period.... So now we have to start fresh. We can get them at SOG with our military discount... I don't think we can get as good a deal at OKW? I know DVC owners get a discount, and some one told me that since we were staying at OKW we could also get the discount. I am fairly sure they were not right about that, but I am also sure some on here will let me know!

And finally, I have a bum knee. I can get a Handicap sticker, but haven't done so. And when I did the trade with II I could NOT put in the info that we needed a ground floor. I called II and they said that I had to call the WDW resort and tell them, but not till a few days befor we checked in.... I am thinking at this point we are gonna get what we get for location?

Thank you for every thing you all can tell us!
looking forward to our first onsite stay. This Sept we get to stay at Wilderness Lodge Villas.

Have you received written confirmation of your II trade? I may be wrong, but I thought there was some DVC Member Services contact information with the II confirmations. With that, you should be able to add the DDP and inform them you need a ground floor unit for medical reasons.

You can have the dining plan with interval exchanges. You'll need to do so for the entire seven days even if you only stay a portion of those. Why your confirmation you'll find the number for member services. You can pay year $95 resort services fee and place any requests at that time or at a different time.

Only DVC members are eligible for the $100 off an annual pass discount. We have to show our blue member card to get it and only members of our immediate family living at the same address are eligible. So they are strict with it and you do have to be a vacation club member to get the annual pass discount.

Thanks folks!
I paid an exchange fee with II when we made the trade. I was told at that time that that would be the only cost involved... so what is the $95 resort service fee for? That will need to be paid when we get there?
That sounds about what I paid for the exchange...
We did not get anything in the mail from II,or from DVC, but we did get an email from them confirming the exchages for both July and Sept. I didn't excpect anything from DVC, but will be getting in contact with II, again, to double check on the ressies. I really don't want anything to mess this trip up!

When one exchanges through interval into DVC, there is in addition additional 95 $ fee that goes directly to Disney and is above and beyond the exchange fee. This is called a "resort services fee "and is essentially for services that to the other guests get already. It should have been explained on the exchange and would have been included in the online documentation when one is going through the exchange pages.
