DDP and Holiday Surcharges..Covered..Right?

I just read a post where a guest was told .....when making ADRs....they would have to pay the surcharge over and above the price of the DDP. I just can't believe this is true. Any others with an experience relating to the DDP and the holiday surcharges?

I omitted that from my post....trying to be nice.....didn't want to put on the flame suit. Just wondering if anyone else had the same experience.

P.S. Had a thought. Do you think the CM was Sybil? The one that has a thread about her....all her very own.

You know - that's the ONLY thread I've ever unsubscribed from! While I realize the posters on that thread are having fun, it's always possible the Cast Member in question reads these boards and remembers that conversation. I figure, she's human - and since most CMs won't post here (because Disney does have people checking the popular Internet forums), she'll never identify herself... but it'd have to hurt to see people you don't know making fun of you (especially since only two people know the tone/s of voice used.

I would guess that a Disney CM NEVER EVER made fun of us!

I agree that the CM made a mistake. Kind of like my favorite CM who I called about Crystal Palace. I still think that I should throw a tantrum

I knew that wasn't true....about the surcharges not being covered by DDP....but then stranger things have happened! I have learned anything is possible with Disney (and their CMs).....and I'm not knocking the CMs, but I know they aren't perfect.

When we were there over New Years the surcharge meals were covered in full.

The surcharges ARE covered. I asked a CM about this for the 2008 DDP when I was there this past December. I checked with my TA who checked with Disney before I booked my deluxe DDP for December '08.
