First of all sorry if this has already been asked but we are dining at California Grill and will be using two credits from the dining plan. I assume you get the one drink as part of the dining plan even though you use two credits but we are not quite sure.

Thanks.

In theory, a higher-quality and more expensive beverage, but still just one.

Yes, one drink. You don't get two meals or desserts with a 2 credit meal, either.

I asked the same thing a couple of months ago, since the food prices are higher at signatures, but the beverage options are not, so it does seem a bit odd that your drink credit is effectively halved in value. But it is still better than having to pay every alcoholic beverage out of pocket like before 2018 so I am not complaining!

I was commenting on this to DH on our recent trip about cost versus quality of the drinks at California Grill and ‘Ohana. My drink at CG was delicious; fresh tasting, very well made. Best drink of the trip. ‘Ohana our drinks were basically undrinkable. Took a few sips each and they sat. So processed and fake.

The drinks at ‘Ohana were at least as expensive as CG, I believe mine was more expensive at ‘Ohana. Definitely get your money’s worth if paying OOP for alcohol at CG. Strange that the drink menus are priced similarly at signature vs regular, but you’re supposed to be spending “double”.

My CG drink was absolutely worth the 2 credits though despite what the price was:thumbsup2

I completely agree the mixed drinks at Ohana are atrocious (It tasted like acetone and cool aid), but we had very nice drinks at a lot of other one credits, especially in the world showcase. I do take your point though that the Signatures will likely be better quality drinks on average.

Perfect description of 'Ohana :rotfl:Not to hijack the thread, but we had amazing drinks at Sanaa (1 credit) and La Cantina de San Angel (QS credit and I think my most expensive drink of the trip) so I don't necessarily think signatures have the better drinks, just that alcoholic drinks don't seem to be priced in line with rest of the menu. There seems to be a universal price range (approximately) for alcoholic drinks across property.
