DDP and CSR?

Hi all, staying at CSR this coming week. Have the regular DDP. Have my dinner plans reserved, however wondering what are good breakfast options on the DDP while at CSR. Going to have table service at the theme parks and Disney Springs, but plan on having a snack for breakfast and quick service lunch some days at the resort. When I get to CSR Tuesday, does the DDP go into affect right away? How do you purchase food? With your magic band? Are there good snack options for breakfast at CSR? Like a donut or pastry? (not a big breakfast person). Thanks so much.

We too will be staying at CSR for first time this year. I found lots of useful info on the CSR thread. Wish I could tell you more...

I can’t answer specifics about CSR but if it’s like the other moderates, which I assume it is, they always have grab and go options in the food court area. Bagels, muffins, croissants, yogurts, etc. And with it being a “convention” hotel, I’d assume they’d definitely cater to the “grab n go on the way to a meeting” crowd.
In regards to the DDP, yes the plan goes into affect on your 1st day and goes until midnight of check out day. And yes, it’s all on your Magic Band. If you download the MDE app, it will actually let you know how many credits you have as you use them(and the snack credits). It’s printed on the receipts, too but that gets confusing as a trip goes on

Most of them do, look for the purple symbol.

Cafe Rix or El Mercado would be the best places to look for grab and go snacks.
