I called last week to change my campground reservations to a package to get the meal plan. I was planning on just adding the meal plan because we will be purchasing annual passes. I thought that they started allowing annual passholders the option of purchasing the DDP because I have read about it on here as well as allearsnet. TO my surprise, when I called I was informed that it was for a limited time only. The cast member said that they might extend this, but as of right now, it won't be available during my trip in June. THis stinks.

While I am not an annual passholder right now. I do think that this should be changed. I do no think it is fair that people paying the money for the annual passes, and such frequent visitors can only get the dining plan if they purchase at least a one day ticket. The annual pass should be counted as that. Also my agenda is partially selfish bc I am planning on getting married in Disney next year hopefully and I wold really like to be able to get a dining plan bc we love it so much. So hopefully they do change this. And I hope for your sake they do it before you go so you can change your package :)

Wha..?? I say call back and talk to another cast member. I have seen this new AP Dining Plan thing announced many different places, and none of them said it was for a limited time....

It's probably because this offer was part of the AP room rates, the package deal was AP rate on a room and DDP.
Maybe they will only offer it for dates when there's an AP rate on rooms.
