DDP and a split stay...

Hi All! Hope this is an okay place to ask this...wasn't sure where to post.
We leave for our trip in 37 days! Yipee! I am trying to finalize a few things. We like to do DDP, yes i know it's not necc. a money saver. But we are doing a split stay for the first time. So we have to purchase it separately... which is fine.

my question is, how does disney handle the split stay with the dining credits? Do i have to use all my credits before check in at resort 2?? Before midnight?? Anyone know??

As far as I know, you have to use them before midnight on your last night at that resort. You will have an overlapping day where you check in and have those credits and still have credits from your first resort until midnight, so make sure to use the bands from resort 1 until your credits are gone.
Last year we did 3 reservations with DDP. We had tickets (not bands) at that time. We came home with a crap load of room keys!!!!

You have until midnight on resort #1 check-out day to use resort #1's dining credits. When you check-in to resort #2 on the same day, you will also have all those dining credits available. Obviously, use up resort #1's credits first before they expire. One thing a person cannot do is combine one TS credit from resort #1 and one TS credit from resort #2 to pay for his/her 2-credit meal on that check-out/check-in day.

As the pp's said, you have until midnight of the day you check out of the first resort to use those credits. The second resort's credits will then expire at midnight of that check out day.
