I'm sure this has been asked a zillion times, but I don't see anything in a search (prob because it is too big), but how do you get the DDE? Is it just an AP thing? And if I get it, I can use it for our whole family, right? No counter service?
Do I have to order it and AP before I go?

It's $75, but being an AP holder gets you a $25 discount.

I just ordered my DDE over the phone last week. The CM told me if it wasn't here by a certain date to call them and they would have it waiting for me to pick up at Epcot Guest Relations. She said I had to call first though. I guess they are really busy and it is taking longer to process them and we leave in 12 days! Guess I should have ordered it sooner!
By the way, are you really a Briar's mom? I was just curious because that is my daughter's name too and we don't know any other Briars. Can you tell I am a Sleeping Beauty fan! Always loved the fairy tale and just had to name her Briar. She hates all princessy things though!

we picked up our DDE card at Epcot guest relations. Do yourself a favor and go in "off" hours to pick it up. We tried to get it around 11 am, and the guest relations line was about an hour long.

I ordered the DDE card about 12 days before we left for our trip. I just went to Epcot Guest Relations after we checked into our hotel. They gave me two temporary cards to use, one for me and another for DH. The 20% discount is good for up to 10 people per meal, sit down, including alcoholic beverages. I just activated my AP while I was at Epcot too.

What is a DDE?

DDE is a dining discount card available to Ap holders and FL residents only. Annual passholders pay $50 and FL residents pay $75.

It gets you 20% off your meals for you and up to 9 guests.
