In order to purchase the DDE card you must be a FL resident or an AP holder. The cost is $60.00 for the AP holder and $85.00 for FL resident. You can also get a second card for a spouse for $25.00. It offers a 20% discount for a list of TS restaurants as well as CS at the Value Resorts and AK. There is an automatic tip added of 18%. The tip is not added to CS locations. The card disounts food and drinks including alcohol for the card holder and up to 9 more guests on the same bill. DDE is good for about 13 months. We purchased ours on May 18, 2008 and it's valid until June 30, 2009. The breakeven point for the AP cost is $300.00. The card also includes free parking for those just going for dinner, I guess pertains to FL residents mostly since they may visit just for dinner. If I missed something, I'm sure someone will let you know. We found it to be worth it since we were staying at a Value Resort and ate at the food court as well as using it for TS.
Nope, ya can't do it.

I don't think that's true. In my other forum life, posters were reporting how complicated their bills (multiple receipts) were at dinner, due to using DDP for some things, and using DDE for others (like alcohol and appetizers, I think). So I think you can use both together. They also reported being overcharged in some cases due to the server's confusion with using both, so I guess check your bills!

Those things aren't covered in the DDP so that would be ok, I guess. I was specifically speaking of not being able to use the DDE on the DDP bill. You can't use them together. If you pay OOP for appetizers and alcoholic drinks and such then you should be able to use the DDE. I don't claim to know the answer to this though. It would have to be a separate bill?
