DDE question

I know that alcoholic beverages are included when purchasing with a meal at a sit-down restaurant.

My question is -- is the DDE discount available at any of the restaurant or resort bars, without buying food? How about pool bars at the resorts?

Yes, you can use it at most of the pool bars (list is on the WDW website) without having to buy food along with it.

YUP YUP YUP We used it at a few of the lounges - just for drinks - Tambu Lounge and the Outer Rim. We were so happy.....

I don't think it is good at pool bars though. Although I don't know the names of all the pool bars, at the hotels I know best the pool bars aren't listed.

I can personally confirm successful use at Tambu Lounge which does by the way still serve flatbreads even though it is not on the menu.

Yes, I think it is the lounges not the pool bars. The Caribbean Beach pool bar didn't take it and I don't think others are listed.

Siesta's at CSR took ours, not sure if they were supposed to or not....
I think it all depends on the CM, as we have used ours on Mother's Day and other "excluded" holidays.

Is there another lounge at CSR? Maybe if there is no lounge, the pool bars take it?

The hotels I know where the pool bars aren't listed are the Polynesian, GF, AK and Y&BC.

But as you said, maybe it is just the CM not the list!
