DDE ? photo on card

Hi

I wonder if you can help me. How does the DDE work. I know if you are an annual pass holder that you can obtain a DDE card, I think it costs something like $65 and $25 for an additional card. Is this attached to my annual pass or do I get an extra card with my photo attached?

Please advise.

They are separate cards and neither has a picture on it. However, you may be asked for id as well. And they're not transferable.

The cost for the first card was reduced to $60 this year.
