I think CMs often assume if they can't get a discount on a meal at a certain day or time, neither does anyone else. This is not the case, unless things have changed. Last year I treated CMs to dinner discounts using my DDE card, as their discount was only for lunch.
(Us guests pay for our discount privledges.

Excuse me, but my husband pays for his discount privledges too! not money, but through hard work....believe me, Disney does not give him anything that he does not earn. And because he's not a WDW CM we too have to buy APs at the non-FL price, just like everyone else. We do however, get alot more dining perks than DDE holders. We are also eligible to buy the AP DDE, but did the math and we would have to spend at least $250 to break even and there is no way we could do this even with 5 trips a year--there are only so many maragritas you can drink.
