DDE May Trip--black out day

Just a reminder as you May visitors make your PS arrangments. Sunday May 8th is Mother's Day and it is a Black Out day for discounts. No DDE discounts will be given that day (or CM dining discounts). Not sure if everyone knew this. I was doing my PS yesterday and mid-way through I remembered that day was a black out and had to go back and make a couple of adjustments. I had to decide which restraurant I wanted to be at that day that I was willing to pay full price for. I moved the more expensive ones to another day. I called last night and had no problem making and getting any of my PS selections. I was surprised, not even a problem at MGM on 5/5/5 (I thought that might be a problem since EPCOT is closed that night, I figured lots of folks will be scrambling for a place to dine that evening....maybe they haven't figured this out yet.) I'll be there from April 29th to May 14th.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for that reminder! We will be there on Mother's day (checking out that day) and that never crossed my mind! I think maybe we will have breakfast that morning at Fresh since I wanted to try that place but I kept skipping over it in my planning since they do not accept the DDE card.
