DDE Fax

Okay, we are planning on stopping at the Ocala Info Center off I-75 to purchase our Annual Passes. They do still sell them, right?

Then I plan on calling the DDE line to get our DDE card faxed to our resort.
How do I go about this again...can I just give them my AP info, credit card info, name, and resort, and ask for the fax BEFORE I check in and it will be waiting OR do I have to wait until I have a room number assigned to me?

Also do I need to call the resort and let them know I am getting a fax or do they automatically watch the fax machine for requests, etc.?

I know these questions have been asked so many times, so thank you for your responses.

DDE will ask you for a few numbers on the back of the AP. Once you give them to the CM and she verifies your eligibility let her know to fax the letter to POR. The front desks at the resorts handle incoming faxes, mail and packages very well...they typically will put the fax in a separate envelope and leave you a message on your room phone that it is there for you.

So I should wait until we check in and call for the fax or will they hold it there until I check in?

If it's like my experience at the YC they'll put it in a manila envelope for you. Just remind them at check in. Heads up from the voice of experience, while standing there, hopefully before DDE closes for the day: check the letter right then! I opened my envelope after getting settled in the room to find that I had a letter for another person with the same last name! I called Rosa at DDE and left a voicemail, she actually was still there and maaged to fax the correct letter to the hotel our dinner was at!
