DDE expires???

My DDE card expires at the end of May this year. Do they send you some kind of notice to sign back up again or how does this work... ?

I got a renewal form in the mail at least a month ago (mine expires in May as well). I wound up renewing by phone though. You can just give them the number on the DDE card and your AP number and they can do it by phone. It will take 3 to 4 weeks to get your new card.

We got a letter once and nothing the other two times. I would just call when it is getting close and not expect them to send you anything.

Mine too! It expires May 31. I got my letter the beginning of May. But really, unless you are a FL resident there is no price break for the renewal. It is just like getting a new card. But funny thing was, because I did call within the 30 days of expiration- she didn't even ask me for my AP #(although I have it)

So...if it's the same amount to renew as get a new card, would I just be better off waiting and getting a new card closer to the end of Oct? My card expires next week and we won't be going back until late Oct, with a trip in Dec and possibly one in August '07. I'm starting to think that waiting until late Aug would be a better idea.

Wait. For sure. You want to be able to take advantage of it as much as possible before it expires.

I'm waiting to renew mine. No sense in throwing away 5 mos of use for no savings. I actually am doing same with AP just buying new one since it'll be about 5mos before I go again.
