If you order the Disney Dining Experience Card, how long is it valid for? And what date is it valid from?(ie: when you order it, when you recieve it, when you activate it...???)

Also, once you have the card in your hand, do you get asked for AP or Florida ID by the server at the restaurant? Is there a name on the card that the restaurant verifies you are who the card says or else you do not get the discount?

It is good for one year from the date of purchase.

I was never asked to see identification or my AP, however, I always paid with my room key so that had my name on it as well. Your name is on the card.

I didn't have my card yet during our May trip. I used the letter all week and only in Nine Dragons did the CM ask for my ID.
