DDE card...does it include parking at resorts too?

I read it includes parking at parks, you just pay first, and show the person at the gate your receipt when you leave and they give you your money back, but do they do that for resorts as well?

I don't know if this is true of staying off-site, but last trip we were staying at a resort and went to Chef Mickey's for breakfast. You just tell them at the gate you are coming for that and they give you a temp. parking pass good for 3 hours. In other words, it doesn't cost to park at a resort for a meal, so you don't need to worry about it.

If I understand your question, then no. There isn't a charge to park at a resort, you may need to show your DDE card and they'll give you a parking permit good for 3 hours.

According to the Member Benefits list:
"Parking is complimentary if the Disney Dining Experience member enters a Walt Disney World Theme Park or Resort for a short period of time for the sole purpose of dining. The DDE member should pay parking at the toll booth, then, after dining, present a dining receipt and parking ticket at Guest Relations/Services for a refund. When dining at a Walt Disney World resort, valet parking is also complimentary. After dining, present a dining receipt at the valet stand."

A friend of mine once found out the hard way that parking isn't complimentary on major holidays when the DDE card is not in effect (Easter, Mothers' Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day).
