I just adore the Celebration Town Tavern restaurant! It is located on the lake in Celebration and is owned by a family from Massachusetts who own the Kelly's Landing restaurant back there. They fly their seafood in from Ipswich MA and the whole belly clams are to die for! The Clam Chowdah is excellent, and they also have New England favorites such as Boston Baked Beans and brown bread.

We discovered on our trip this month that they do honor the DDE discount and provide a 10% discount to those who have the card. This was an added plus for us as we would dine there of course even without the discount.

They have a Website that you can check out. About a year and a half ago DH and I were there dining on the patio and as we left we ran into our own Webmaster John! He was there picking up Clam Chowder as he proclaimed it the best in Florida!

Thank you!!! I have been looking for a good fish sandwich and other seafood. I will have to check this place out. It's so close and I have never been there.

Thank for this. I am a Bostonian transplanted to Naples FL and really miss the Gloucester seafood. We do have 2 places locally that ship the NE seafood in daily, even the split top hot dog buns!

I will have to find time to mosey over to Celebration and check it out!

Safetymom, their fish was excellent! One day I had the fried seafood platter and I can't tell you how yummy it was.

Mickeynicki, my DH always laughs as me because here in Chicago you cannot get the regular hot dog buns that are split in the middle. That is one thing I miss (besides the seafood) from Boston. Oh and Devil Dogs, LOL!

That is too funny. When I go home to visit I bring one empty suitcase and pack it with food! You name it and I bring it home. We dont have Dunkin Donuts down here so one time I brought home 2 dozen chocolate honey dipped donuts for my DH. Another time I froze a Papa Gino's pizza and Kowloon chinese food and brought it home.

Oh the foods I miss.

I tend to define regular hot dog buns as the kind the other 99% of the country sells. ;)
