DDE and Yak & Yeti

Does anyone know if Y&Y takes the DDE? If not does it take an AP discount?

Y&Y does not accept DDE.

The AP discount is 10% off the regular price of lunch and dinner entrees (looks like it's just the entree, not appetizers or desserts) for passholder and up to 3 guests.

We just got back on the 29th of may 2008 and Yak and Yetti does accept DDE.....but we did not like this resteraunt.... the server kept telling us that there was no substitues with the dinning plan but yet the ppl at the next table were on DDE and they were making many substitutions....and also we did not like the food.My hubby calls it the Yak and Yucky .....LoL. anyway just our oppinion but we give this reteraunt a thums down for service and for food quality.

If they accept DDE, that is a new development, as they never have before.

Note: DDE (Disney Dining Experience) is not the same as DDP (Disney Dining Plan). If you are talking about the dining plan, Y&Y does accept that.

We were there on May 22nd and they DID NOT accept DDE.

If the previous poster was attempting to substitute an appetizer for a dessert on the basic dining plan, no restaurant is supposed to do that. It's possible, if this was the issue, that the second table was on the deluxe plan which would enable them to order appetizers.

Personally I can't think of any other substitution people might ask for, since the dining plan covers the entire menu.

Well im unsure where people are getting thier info from but we made our ressies for this restraunt with the dinning plan in January....and we went to this restraunt on May 20th and they accepted our dining plan and we were on the basic plan....and as far as substitutions we asked for chicken fried rice instead of brown rice....and as far as the ppl next to us they has the same ddp as us and they had the same request for rice but they had a diffrent server......and we did get the chicken fried rice as the srever from the other table heard what our server had told us and he said she was mistaken and he changed our order for us....So this is what i am talking about as far as service.

The op is asking about the dde card which is a discount card for people who have ap's not the basic dining plan.

They do not accept the dde card, I was there about 2 weeks ago but used my ap discount. It was my 3rd time there since it opened in November and is still one of my favorites.

LoL...sorry guys thought you were talkin the DDP im missunderstanding of the DDE....what is that a discount card?....anyway i appologise for my lack of knowlege of the DDE i was thinking it was the dinning plan....
