Morning, Gents! Well, another Monday and anothe work week, unless you're
@AirGoofy then it's...wait, today is your first day of retirement, right? Wanted to make sure I got that right. Either way, Congratulations. Well, had a good weekend. Spent Saturday inside as it was raining all afternoon. The DD was watching her cartoons and I was cleaning and organizing. The kitchen floor is more than halfway done, so and we were able to put some stuff back in the kitchen, so that meant I could organize some stuff....so that's what I did Saturday. Sunday I grabbed the kid and drove down to Chatham to look around. I've always wanted to take some pictures of the lighthouse, which is a fully functioning lighthouse ran by the Coast Guard.

I've not had the pleasure of going down to the World since the FP went electronic, so I can't comment on that, however, for me part of what I love doing when I head down is wondering around and jumping on a ride/attraction when I feel like it. The thought of having to plan everything out doesn't sound fun at all. I like some spontaneity during my trips.
That's not fun. Although I didn't do it often, I did enjoy going to a different park in the evening.
I'm hoping that they unlock the system after Covid as well. I'm not looking to go right away, but it'd be nice that when I did go it'd be back to some form of normal.

Hope everyone was safe.
^ This! I tried telling the wife about the FP's and ADR's and how to maximize your time down there. Her response, "I don't want every minute of my vacation planned." While I agreed with her and told her that I planned on a few rides that I knew I wanted to ride, the rest of the time was spent meandering around and deciding on the fly what I wanted to do. Because for me, that's the best part of Disney, wondering around and looking at things and deciding in the moment what I wanted to do. Not having it all planned out for me.
Sometimes an ***whoopin' is worth it.
