I didn't say it was, or that they were market leaders just because they get huffy when people say Legos.I just don't think it's as simple as people using the name ubiquitously.
I said they are protective of the name so it isn't cheapened by associated with any brick, as the relative others seem to have, and therefore you lose some of your brand identity of and therefore others have an opportunity to steal a march, which has happened to other brands. The question was from Norm why they get cross when we refer to it as Legos, and that's the reason.
