Top of the month means that I get to roll out of my comfy bed at 0-Dark-30 for the next week.
Adding a Monday on top of that is merely a added insult.

Just back at 1am this morning from the Riga Stag do. Very messy.

I mentioned that I had wife's cousin's wedding on Saturday past. It was a good time, but I'm getting too old for that <stuff>. Ate too much, I may have drank too much - to the point where I thought I would be as good a dancer as Norm - and definitely stayed out past my bedtime. Home around 1:00am. Needless to say Sunday was a write off. Not ready for Monday.

We have my nephew's wedding coming up this weekend. Luckily it's a long weekend so things won't be so rushed.

I too have a wedding to attend this weekend.

That's a lot of festivities all going on at once.
Must be something in the water...

Monday Dads........... Cubs have a huge game today. Beers & ND along with just minimal work around the house and a buddy's 60th bday celebration made for an overall solid weekend. Hope ya had a good birthday weekend Norm!

A few. Chick Fil A & beer Friday night, pizza & beer Saturday night, and steak and beer Sunday night. I may be fat, but I'm happy.

Lost the first leg of our soccer semi-final last nght 1-0. The good news is that they did manage to lose 3 players to injury. Just kidding, hate to see guys get hurt.

Yes it does. Better definition of irony - Now that I'm older and can afford good alcohol, I can't consume as much since I'm older and can't recover efficiently.

Is there any way to unlike or strongly not like a post?? Stinkin' Brewers. We had the best record in the league the whole season, but because of all of our rainouts and makeup games (which created long stretches with NO days off), just got tired. I'm taking my ball and going home.
