“Thoust seems like a gentleman who doth bring a Mace to a Scimitar fight.”
Gets em every time. The wenches love it as well.
It's been pretty bad for a lot of people. We just watched a video that a friend posted from there house down river. They live in a really bad area and already had water in the basement. Yesterday we had high winds and it caused large waves to break out their basement windows and the water was coming in like Niagara Falls.
As for the movie, don't get me wrong I enjoyed it but I think the others have been better. There was just so much going on in this one it was hard to get a good flow.
Okay, so that makes it one for, one against, one "meh".
Morning sunshine, hope you’re doing ok over there. Good luck with the football. Do you want a West Ham shirt to play in? I’ll be happy to send one over. The way we are playing, you might even get a game over here.
Have a fabulous Sunday boys, may it be filled with relaxation, beers and bbq.
You’re saying the BBQ isn’t very good? Or the crowds are bad? Or?As for BBQ, next weekend is our International BBQ Festival. In a classic Princess Bride quote "I don't think you know what that word means" people from neighboring states drive down and load up on church cooked BBQ, with prizes published in the newspaper for annual bragging rights. I will stay as far away as possible. You all head on down though.

Rumours that I drunk a bottle of wine and fell asleep last night on the sofa at 9 are unconfirmed, yet at this moment undenied.....
Sunny Sunday here so far, hoping the rain stays away so the river can start dropping soon.

Happy Sunday. Long day of work. Tennis. Youth group. HS tennis is next week. My girl plays doubles and is in bracket with #3 seed. I doubt they will survive.

The crowds are big. The BBQ is mostly good. I mean, you're competing against other churches to have ribbons which rank your BBQ quality - one for beef, pork, mutton, chickens, and burgoo. But, international? I guess we have a large migrant farmer population, but they are there for the work and just came to town the same day everyone else did. Interstate festival? I may buy thay one.![]()
This all sounds fantastic. Do you guys not get the first Monday of May as a holiday?Breakfast at my all time favorite diner and then a few stops to see some friends. Not working doesn't suck.

Afternoon boys from sunny London. Building a bespoke boardwalk for the Lady K today.

I'm with our leader, really enjoyed it and looking forward to #4 to wrap it all up.I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait for the next one.
Prayers for those affected, hope the worst is over. Make sure you don't pull or hurt anything this season.Morning Guys.
Forecast is for sun for the next few days and that should help with this flood. We are into double digit days at extremely high levels, never seen anything like it. Usually we will get a day or two but it goes up and right back down. We've been more than a week at over the 8 meter mark and the flood mark is 6.5 meters. Communities are completely cut off and I can't imagine the damage down to homes down river. Crazy, crazy stuff.
First soccer game of the season went well with a 2-1 win. That ends our pre-season and now we are one to the real thing.
Hope everyone has a good day.
Sounds like you're enjoying retirement / semi-retirement or whatever you are calling it.Morning guys. The kid is off to wrestle sharks. Lots of wind and thunderstorms out in the Gulf so I imagine she is hanging on to the rail feeding the fishes. Her Kryptonite is she is prone to seasickness especially at the beginning of a trip. My plan is to hit the Keys tomorrow. Breakfast at my all time favorite diner and then a few stops to see some friends. Not working doesn't suck.
Look at it this way...Morning chaps from the dystopian nightmare that is London, where knife wielding maniacs roam with impunity and the hospitals are awash with blood, apparently.
A holiday dedicated to the working classes?Do you guys not get the first Monday of May as a holiday?

Good luck to her. Hopefully she and the team pull off an upset.
I would bravely fight traffic to for some good BBQ. Sorely lacking in the culinary department down here. Next year, you and I go stuff our faces and head to the Bourbon bar.

Norm, save me a stool at the BBQ
Good point well made there, Rob. Fair do's.Look at it this way...
That yutz can't directly effect the laws and livelihoods of the general populous where you live.
I can't say that (and unfortunately, where I live, even expressing a descanting opinion could well get my family harmed)
we are having the one week in the year when the AC would be on, and we wished we had it.'Morning all...
The A/C at the house decided to go on strike just as the temps are headed toward the 90'sF range.
Probably tomorrow before we'll get anyone out there to look it over.
lovely...
If only we had the room. Are you also putting in a pool with a clown slide?

That's both an excellent idea and on another level even a fairly effective insult...Ugh. Just stick your head in the freezer from time to time.
