Morning boys, from sunny London. In total disbelief.
Sounds like you guys are in for a wild ride. Good luck!

Holy crap! Any idea on the cause?
Well, you can't get a degree in common sense, so nothing helpful can be taught anymore.
Sounds like a decent solution, however, just to give you another thought, FIL's girlfriend lived on a street of homes and county forced them to tie into sewer as opposed to septic. And, it required the homeowner to pay for it, or the county would place a lien on the house for future sale. Yeah government.
She had nothing but problems and continues to get the runaround from people. The sewer gas has backed up into her home, and it doesn't smell very good.
Cheers. On the other side a good reason to vote out is that Disneyland Paris has tried to bring in a fake dole whip. To be honest, that's a good reason for invasion...
Are you sure you weren't pumping moonshine out of there?
Thank you so much for your warm welcome. I thought I was one in a million dad that loves Disney the way our family does.
August heading to Orlando to Upgrade my Florida Pass to AP
Septemeber - Fort Wilderness Camping YEAHHH!!!!
October - No Kids trip to FOOD AND WINE AND WINE AND FOOD lol.
Morning chaps from stormy London. Biggest vote in a generation for us today, so will be up late watching the political channels.
I don't think I posted here last week, but last Friday our pump house (we have a community well that serves 54 homes) exploded.
Happy Thursday. All packed up at home. Just need to finish work in a few hours and then tournament bound. First match is tomorrow at 9:00 AM. I'll try to post something if not too tired.
good afternoon.
I'm just checking in. I have nothing of value to contribute to the thread at this time.
Which makes this post as relevant as any of my previous posts.
I'm the same CJ. Will be watching the US elections, as US politics was my major at uni. We are all shocked, and London had a weird feel today, as no-one thought this would happen. But hey ho. We all have to move on. Thanks to all the dis dads for the good wishes.I'm a political junkie and watched the BBC on the computer to check on the vote. A bit shocked by the result.
Happy Friday guys, less than a week until our one-day quick dash through the MK.
My sister is getting married tomorrow to her HS sweetheart. They went their separate ways after HS, she married and had a son, that guy (her husband not my nephew) was a total tool and she divorced him when my nephew was like 2. About 2 or 3 years ago, she and this guy reconnected via the magic of Facebook and now they are finally getting married, so it's a good weekend.
Double duty for me this weekend. Representing work at something called the East Coast Games and cheering for DS and his team in the basketball component of the games. Should be fun.
I wish! I was thinking more meth lab jokes.
Wow, three trips, I used to do that. Food and Wine sans kids is a huge bonus. Have fun.

i'm drinking at my desk this afternoon.
it's "America" - why Budweiser has been rebranded as America, i don't know.
but, I do know that when I drink it, i do say " 'Murica!" in my head.
Cheers. On the other side a good reason to vote out is that Disneyland Paris has tried to bring in a fake dole whip. To be honest, that's a good reason for invasion...

It certainly was a bit of a shocker, especially since the things I read before hand suggested the polls showed "remain" majority. Interesting to see how things progress now. Hopefully not too painful and the global markets calm down next week.Morning boys, from sunny London. In total disbelief.
Good luck to him and the team. I had a quick look at the games website. It looks like mainly NB, NS and PEI teams. Is Newfoundland ever involved?Double duty for me this weekend. Too bad, but hope for the best.I seriously doubt we will win the group or have best record to make it to semi finals.
Still, I'll bring it.
Sounds like another great weekend for you....Evening gents. Working graveyard shift for tonight and tomorrow.
We'll see how alive I am after that...
Enjoy storming the castle and nice story about your sister and the HS sweetheart.Happy Friday guys, less than a week until our one-day quick dash through the MK.

All the best to you over there. News was showing multiple interviews with folks stating that they voted to leave but didn't think it would really happen and now wish they hadn't voted that way. Being reported that many were more protest voting and then oh oh"...I'm the same CJ. Will be watching the US elections, as US politics was my major at uni. Congrats and good luck.Happy weekend Dads. Great news in my house today. Oldest DD just got hired as a cashier at the local supermarket for the summer. And the best part is she gets a 10% employee discount. Hello prime rib! Not sure how many hours she'll get yet, but I'm just glad there won't be a teenager sulking around the house the *entire* summer. Now to convince her to save up some of her pay for university instead of clothes and makeup. Hmmm....

No, but around here I would say 1 in a 1000 anyway.Thank you so much for your warm welcome. I thought I was one in a million dad that loves Disney the way our family does.

Sadly, that seems to be the heart of politics in the USA recently also. It's been a pretty poor level of debate TBH , with many in the UK feeling there is not an awful lot of fact, just a lot of spin, which has been particularly disappointing.

Top O the Mornin Dad! I landed at gate 17 last night coming back from west coast trip and DW was there at gate 17 for her flight out to San Diego to visit DD. Talk about ships passing and coincidence. DW and I will now not see each other until July 9 as I head to Australia before she gets back - too much going on. DS and I will be hitting yard work heavy this weekend as the next 4 weekends I am not around, 2 traveling to / from Australia and 2 tied to Disney Cruise. Have a good weekend guys.
.
DS and his team mates are 1-1 with one game left in pool play. Pretty easy one yesterday, 97-27 win and a 60-52 loss earlier today. His hard work has paid off as he has moved into a starting spot. He's the only underager on his team to start.
Digging your own grave???
Nice beating Naegle. Take today off and have the family take care of Dad.Well, tournament over for my team. Once again, won doubles but the rest of my team lost their matches. Score was 2-6, 7-6 (7-4), 10-8. Funny story. I didn't realize it afterwards (otherwise I would have got a picture), but one of the opponents we played against was Browning Naegle, former UL and Jets QB. While he is 48, it still feels good to know I got the win against a professional athlete, even if he 5 years older than me. Probably not funny for him, given my conditioning.
I am exhausted right now. Showered and food, but I don't plan on moving too much more until tomorrow.
