One of the best movies of all time.
Don't forget the Rum...I'll be sure to put that all in one box. It will still be good when it gets there. Just insert into a blender then refreeze and you will be good to go. Dole whip floats! Now with bacon and cake!!!
I thought I heard something like a muffled scream a couple times yesterday. Thanks guys. Only screamed twice today, so definitely improving.
It's all good. Choosing work over Dis Time again, huh...Been one of those nutz, outta whack, over the top days at work, too many of these lately. Sorry I was unable to make my morning hello.
Pointed out in writing something that was blindingly obvious, did ya'?Don't think I'm suppose to talk about it but I would day I wasn't following the rules.
Not much. One of our members somehow got pregnant.
I'm sure you can figure out who.
Pregnant? I thought we all knew how to avoid that?
Sounds like a good time will be had.Good morning, men and HAPPY FRIDAY!
It's been a long but productive week. The excitement level is ramping up around the Williams household since we are now 11 days out from our trip.
This is the first time in a while that it'll be just my family. The past several years we've had friends, in some cases, multiple sets at WDW at the same time. I'm kind of looking forward to this. My girls are pretty good with each other...def fight over the dumb stuff...but when we are at the World, they are like BFFs.
We have a few new restaurants that we haven't done in the past, so we'll be able to check a few more items off of our list. We are alos planning to get in some mini-golf at Fantasia gardens and at some point we will have to appease my youngest with a ride on the Surrey bikes. We promised her we'd do them but ran out of time when we were staying at BWV and it went off of the radar last year b\c the girls had all of their friends around. I anticipate some pains and aches after this event takes place.
Sounds about right for the last company I worked for.Well see! That means you get a week off about once every 28 years.
Good Day, DisDads!
It's been a while since i've posted. I have a DisDad number (418), and i'm still here.
I hope everyone is doing well. I don't really have time to go back & read the whole thread, but, I'm sure there isn't a lot different than usual.
Also, Star Wars.
Morning DisDads
Just found my way here via cj9200 and the introductions thread.
Best thread name ever.
Now I've got a lot to read up on.
Cheers
The first rule is you don't talk about it; and the second rule is you don't talk about it.Don't think I'm suppose to talk about it but I would day I wasn't following the rules.
So what did I miss?
Thanks. Hey, it's still Florida. One more decade is the plan. I sure wish it would be sooner.
Thanks guys. Only screamed twice today, so definitely improving.
I had a time out.

Welcome back, Darcy! A month in solitary, huh? Was it the easiest time you ever did?

Welcome aboard. You followed CJ so we have to question your judgement, he keeps giving us fake credit card numbers so we can join him...and he wont let Norm park his RV out front.
I will give you a synopsis of everything on the board so far to save you reading.
Bacon, beer, someone got hurt, bacon, someone is having a kid, Disney trip, beer, football, Disney trip, bacon, other sports, Disney trip, bacon beer, someone got hurt, beer, football, bacon, new guy, bacon, loss in the family, beer, cruise.

Put you in the timeout corner did they. Stay here, it is safer.

Thanks for the warm welcome all. Woohoo #803
I got about 3 pages in and then received all the don't worry about it advice. I did enjoy all the qualifications and the notice of nemesis' cracked me up to.
Not so far a throwback but this is her and her Gumba from Australia with some of the Island kids
The trailer would have floated away a few times during the last 2 weeks. But you are right, it still is Florida.
.
Great pics keep them coming.Happy pre-weekend,
Two and half hours in the dentist's chair yesterday. Made my day. Not much pain but keeping your mouth open and sitting in the chair for that long gets tiresome. Since I missed throwback Thursday, I thought I would post something today (I don't think I posted these before)...

Yes, yes it is.It's a good thing I like bacon.
I thought I heard something like a muffled scream a couple times yesterday.
It sounded a bit like the holler from the long shot in Raiders of the Lost Ark when Marion bashed Jones on the chin with that mirror frame while they were aboard the tramp steamer. That must have been you.
Try not to do that any more, it wakes me from my nap.
May you only scream once today.
Great scene from a great movie. Still ticked that Forrest Gump beat it out for best picture that year.
Both are excellent movies.
But given a choice... I'd watch Shawshank over Gump... and I love Gump.
Of course Morgan Freeman both narrated it and starred in it; not sure that is legal anymore.
Evening Gents!
Welcome back!
Won first match. Play tomorrow at 9:00 AM, assuming I can walk.

Best advice that I've seen for a while. I'll let you know how it works out.Put the girls in the front and they'll never know whether or not you're actually pedaling.
Problem solved.
Amen. We are just over a week out at this point...I barely count the weekends before leaving. It's a struggle to keep things moving forward at work. This is the point that I normally delegate like crazy but my competent folks were all taking vacation before I leave.I guess we are 15 days out. I have so checked out.
Hope it went well! Don't get hurt before the trip.Won first match. Play tomorrow at 9:00 AM, assuming I can walk.

Thanks for some more good pictures. Maybe I can use Mark's boat that he is building to keep safe in the rain if the camper floats away.
Great pics keep them coming.
i bet that over the water suite behind her didn't cost $10,000 a week to stay in. LOL
So far... zero screams.
It's either getting better, or I'm getting more careful.
Agreed
Shawshank may be the greatest movie ever. Of course Morgan Freeman both narrated it and starred in it; not sure that is legal anymore.
Here's a scenario.
Morgan Freeman narrating: "The Sun's gravitational pull on the Earth is so strong that we are doomed to fall into it in the very near future."
Panic ensues.
Morgan Freeman, still narrating: "But of course I'm kidding."

The weekend is here. Soccer went well. My youngest had about 5 goals but more importantly dribbled very well, getting around defenders and passing the ball. She plays so hard which is enough for me. The positive results are a bonus. Truly enjoyable to watch her play.
Today is the day that I make our family's tie dye shirts for our trip. I'm hoping I'm done early enough to get some yard work done and then have a camp fire this evening. Beer and s'mores make me happy. In that order.
