Hello Everyone,
When I logged in, I realized it has been over 2 weeks since I last popped by. It took me a while to get caught up on all the goings on around here but it appears I missed a riveting conversation about the current value of Disney.
To put my 2 cents in, going to Disney doesn't make financial sense at all but we are doing it anyway, although with some changes. For several personal reasons, we go the first week of April every year and are going again this year. For the first time ever, we are staying off site and renting a car as it is cheaper then staying at a value. We are even taking a day or two to explore the other side of Florida (maybe the Gulf Coast or swamp boat somewhere). We are adjusting our expectations and will try to go with the flow, going on rides when we can and enjoy the atmosphere the rest of the time. Genie sucks and I refuse to pay for
Genie+ or Lightning Lanes. Luckily for me, even The Kid won't wait more than 30 minutes for a ride (maybe 45 for Big Thunder). We decided that we only have so much time with The Kid before her parents become old fuddy-duddies and she doesn't want to be with us so we will go to our happy place with her while we can.
