I just paid off my trip, it's due Sunday.
I always wait until last minute to pay it off. I shed a silent tear, knowing soon all that money will leave my account.

also I got Disney mail yesterday! Super fun to see a big blue envelope in our mailbox. It was just a booklet and some stickers.

So DH and I just booked a quick trip for our anniversary! We'll be staying at ASMusic October 19-21. Since its such a short trip, I didn't really want to spend the extra money on a moderate or deluxe since we won't be spending much time at the resort. I really want this trip to be very laid back, no stress, no rushing, just soaking up the Disney magic in a few of the parks. We will do MK, DHS and EP, but not sure yet what our plan is. I want to focus on some of the underrated classic Disney things in MK we didn't take the time to do when we were there in June with the kids/grandkids, i.e. CofP, PeopleMover, Country Bears. Would like to see the new Little Mermaid and Villians shows and ride Slinky Dog in DHS, and in EP stroll WS a little and ride Frozen and Soarin. Would also like to see some of the street performers in all 3 parks. There may be other things we do, of course, but those are at the top of my list. We will arrive on Sunday around noon to the resort. It's a party day at MK, so not sure if we should go there until 6pm, and then use our full day for DHS and EP . . . or vice versa. Anyone care to offer their opinion lol?

So DH and I just booked a quick trip for our anniversary! We'll be staying at ASMusic October 19-21.

MK is a good place to go on a party day. MK closes at 6pm on Oct 21st for a private party. You can get a lot done at MK on a party day. Epcot is a good place for the evening, since they have concerts and other activities at night.

Fantasmic show is listed at 9:30 pm only on 11/27 (Thanksgiving day). We have a dining package. If they add another show at 8 pm will the package shift to that (it says first show)?

We have other things scheduled at HS. Honestly Disney needs to release solid hours before we have to book things. Even Starlight I have to estimate 8 and 10 pm.

ugh, this shutdown is making me pull my hair out!!!

it's not so much getting there, I don't care if delays. But we have to pick up our cat on Friday by 7pm. If we are late, then he'd have to stay until Monday!

I enlisted my brother to pick him up if we will be back after they close, which he will do. I feel better, but this just another layer of stress we didn't need! Plus the price increase today of LLMP really increases what we had planned to pay for those!

Our flight for end of Nov has already changed twice. They cut out one flight completely. We booked our return on spirit. American hasn’t changed anything.

I am pretty sure that is more of a Spirit issue than a government issue. I also hope that flights are not delayed but Spirit has been having big problems.

My lightening lane window opened this morning. The only pass I was buying was for Flight of Passage. I didn't have any problem getting an early morning individual lightening lane.

One more week before we arrive at WDW.

Got all our LLMPs and also Tron, Guardians and Mine Train this morning.

Easy. Tons of times for everything. Even got the elusive Slinky for an after dark time slot!

The system went down just before we arrived at our resort, Riverside, yesterday. They weren't able to tell us when our room was ready because of the global outage, as they called it. We killed time by taking the boat to and from Disney Springs. The system went back up by 3pm and then we were able to get into our rooms. It messed up our plans a little.

The weather has been nice with no rain in the forecast.

Looking like it's going to be cooler (at least first few days) than usual in October! I don't know what is going on, every time we go now seems to be a cold wave!

Highs in the 70s during the day which is nice, I can wear a dress. At night it says lows upper 50s - think I can get away with a dress and then a jacket at night? I wasn't planning on packing a bunch of jeans. The lowest low would probably hit overnight and we'll be in room. Would just be my bare legs. I do have leg warmers my husband can throw in his backpack if I get really cold.

What do you think?

We are here now, and the high of the day has been in the afternoon, after 2 pm or so. But once the sun goes down it turns chilly.
