And now to have a highly productive afternoon just before I leave for 2 weeks.

I sooo get that. I had an interview (this is several years ago) for a supervisor position. But I was already making more than what a super makes. Without the responsibility. I didn't try too hard and came in second. In hindsight, I would've turned it down anyway.

Yeah...I mean, I already have management responsibilities, so that's not super scary. But I know how much time the job takes and wonder if I would see my family again.

That's just a little splash of awesomeness, It can call itself what ever it wants. Saw a show on history channel forever ago in the factory where they make it. The air is so acidic from all the peppers and vinegar it literally eats the forklifts.... gotta be good for right?

Unfortunately not. Apparently he'll just get a letter saying he has 14 days to put in an insurance claim. We'll see what happens after that.

We are leaving Wednesday for the coast for a long weekend.

Thanks. I think the main factor now is it is my daughter's senior year of HS. With my current job, I could be off for every match. If I take the new job, then i may be stuck working to 5:30 PM on match days and miss all of them. It may be that I have to wait a year before doing so and hope I get the offer again.

Our pastor just mentioned this in his sermon yesterday, so I'm going out on a limb here.

I always thought presentation was overrated. Certainly if the chef is more worried about that than the actual taste of the food.

Couldn't find a picture like some of the places I've been that were really expensive and the steak was like 2 bites and had all this fru fru crap on the plate. I have literally said...I paid $50 for THAT???

Happy Monday. I'm definitely enjoying the 10 hour shifts. Went 2-4 this weekend and didn't make it to finals. I hurt my right shoulder too, which is my service game. Hopefully, it heals soon.

Wow. That's a harsh position to be in. Maybe, because you are one the coaches of her team, right(?), that you could ask to leave early on those days? Just spittin' out ideas.

That's basically how I responded. If she wanted me full time, then I needed off for tennis. Or, she could wait to next year. Or, she could pick me up PRN.

Another hot and sticky one today, not as hot as our west coast brethren but enough to say it's not a dry heat. 5k run done, Wimbledon on the box now, England vs Germany later. Couple more hours for DW and she call drop the curtain on a crappy year.
