This has been a crazy busy and stressful Monday morning.

All I have to say is thanks for the laugh, Barry. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

Monday -- ugh! Work crazy nutz. Have a good week gents and as I have posted in the past, every Monday means another week closer to the next advance on the castle.

Such a sad day. Back at work and it may be years til I go back. Good-bye AP, you served me very well. I actually took a ton of pictures in addition to memory maker so I may actually do something that may or may not slightly resemble a trip report. I'd probably just house it here in this forum. Of course that would require some motivation.
Thanks for the SDMT updates and sorry that the year of Chris has come to an end. Was our meet back in March your first one? We will be closing out the year on NYE at HS and will have a toast to the year of Chris.

Good afternoon gentlemen,

I was hoping to post more after the kids' birthday but I came down with a nasty head cold I had to muscle through the weekend. Friday we went to the Halloween parade and party. We counted 26 Elsa's at the school but only 5 came to our door that night. Also, the school sent home bags for kids to put left over candy in a bag for troops overseas. They kept their favorites and put the rest in a bag. I guess we're doing something right.

We also sat the kids down and told them its going to be a quiet Christmas this year since they don't need much and they have Grandmas and Santa to spoil them. So, we've cast the die and told them the Disneyland trip is definitely happening next year.

You really do need to do it. My two sons and I have done it on our last few trips. They give the kids little spinner toys to keep them entertained and stickers at the end.

Looks like they know how to keep boys entertained.

Good Morning Darcy,

We had snow here yesterday as well. Covered the ground and close to enough for a snowman, but sadly a little short.

Travel hoop season starts today for us. A couple of weeks for practices and then a tournament before the regular season begins. I decided to coach a 7th grade team that I do not have a child in the grade and will assist on Alexandra's team. Let the other guy deal with the crazy parents.:thumbsup2 DS has to try out for freshman/JV this year in a few weeks.

Hope all is well!

No snow here yet. And I'm further North than you guys. But when ours comes, it stays until late March or April.

Our meet was trip number 2 of the 5. Technically they don't expire until 12/15 so I could get in the parks for 6 more weeks but it doesn't appear to be in the cards. Daughter and I ended my year on a great note with some magic from the talking Mickey at Town Square just before leaving. One last look at the castle with my first born and some sniffles on the way to the bus. If the year of Chris had to come to an end, that was the way to do it.

You didn't try to sabotage 7DMT during your final AP trip, did you? popcorn::

Not too shabby there.:thumbsup2

I don't see any stickers????? :lmao:

You get those after the haircut.

Oh good. I'm saving this picture and putting into the 'file' with the other pictures I have of you. I'm saving them for a rainy day.
I'd hate to see what you do with a hard drive full of pictures of me when it rains. :scared:

As Rob said, please pay some extra respects for us as well.
::yes::

That looks awesome!

Uh, for the kids. :rotfl2::rotfl:
Ryder has had 3 haircuts there. He sits perfectly still and enjoyed each one of them. The haircuts he has had at home....not so much. I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

I really like the place. It actually reminds me a lot of place my dad would take my brother and I for haircuts. It was a real small town barber shop, complete with the pot-bellied stove and dark woods. I've heard the one at MK is shuting down for 2 months in early 2015 for refurbs. I hope it doesn't lose any of it's charm.

Tis better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.

Oh, who are we kidding - it's going to suck not getting a Dole Whip fix. Looks like you had a great year!

Good deal and glad you went out on a high note with great memories. Not we need the Hawks to start hitting that white net looking stuff with that little black disc item.

I just wanted to drop by and share that I'm spreading the DISDad message. I have a linkup called Mickey Monday on my blog run. geek. run(disney) for anything Disney, so this week I decided to break out a post on DISDads.

If you blog as well, feel free to stop by and add your posts. New linkup every Monday, so anyone wanting to participate is happily welcomed.

(Sorry, apparently I need more posts to be able to add an actual link to my blog so see my signature for the link)

Seriously. What the crap is going on?

Hey CJ! Saw the same coverage. Looks like things are all good now.

Hope things are well. I know the Phins won again so congrats! It's kind of a sad day when I finally get back to the boards after a long time and can't even make fun of your football team.:lmao::lmao: Pats crushed the Broncos, should make for an interesting second half of the season.

Good sports weekend in my household. Gators pounded Georgia, Phins looked good and the Labronless Heat go 3-0. Pats looked good in spanking Denver.

Not a bad ending to the year of Chris. Plus you got a chance to see a firetruck in the MK.

:

No stress here. Just boring, dull Monday. With all my work done for the year, it is a little slow in the office.

Thanks for the SDMT updates and sorry that the year of Chris has come to an end. Was our meet back in March your first one? We will be closing out the year on NYE at HS and will have a toast to the year of Chris.

Or, you can take me with you and start the year of Norm. Then, you can toast with me toasting the year of Chris. :lmao:

.

That would be some drinking Elsa game. We didn't have any here that I saw, but I wasn't distributing candy.

No but I crop-dusted the whole place. If I can't enjoy the parks anymore, nobody can. BWAHAHAHAHA!!!

Glad it was only a dusting and not a turding.

Good deal and glad you went out on a high note with great memories. Not we need the Hawks to start hitting that white net looking stuff with that little black disc item.

Now there is some great coaching. The Hawks just need to include you on the coaching staff. I yell that to all the sports teams I watch on television. :lmao:

We started practicing a couple of weeks ago and play the first games this coming Sunday. I am helping coach this team with the guy that I coach with for the school team. It should be a fun season.

We had enough snow to cover the ground but I'm sure it will be gone in a couple of days.

Safe travels and if you don’t mind, while you’re visiting the War Memorial add in a few respects from the rest of us Dads that can’t get up that way.

As Rob said, please pay some extra respects for us as well.

Just got back and I included you all.

The sad part is that not only is there the ceremonial guards you can see in the picture but there are two police officers in full tactical gear on each side just outside the picture.

:wave2: Guys... we got back from our cruise on Oasis of the Seas yesterday, been very hectic trying to get back in the swing of things.

Will post some pics when I get them off my camera. We were docked next to the Disney Dream in Nassau... :cool2:

What did I miss while I was gone?
