I'm going to retire with today's win as the all time winningest coach in CYO history with today's win! I'm 1-0. The girls did a great job. There are a couple of them that can really play.

Afternoon guys. Got some stuff done around the house this morning and at FIL's as well and able to spend afternoon watching football. More rain and storms this weekend so not able to get the outside clean up work on pots / flowers I wanted to. Enjoy the weekend all.

Happy Friday Guys! Missed a lot of time, had connection problems last week in WDW. Hopefully Norm and Steve kept everyone up to date. It was a great birthday trip for DD. Met Norm and family in person at MNSSHP. Thanks for meeting up with us, thats a great family you have there! Off to see what I missed. I'll try to post some pics this weekend.

And posting a pic of Mickey in a Hawks jersey is plain wrong, everyone knows he's still a Ducks fan even though he doesn't own them anymore.

Morning, men. Sorry for stealing David's job this morning, but I've been up just under 24 hours straight b\c I'm at work for our Disaster Recovery test. I hopped over here to switch gears. I've hit the wall. I need this to be over so that I can go home and pass out.

Got to see some of the Pens-Maple Leafs game. 11 goals in the first 2 games. I like it. I didn't see any baseball or college football though.

Hoping to go over to our friend's house to watch the Steelers-Browns game. Hoping to see my Steelers improve to 4-2.

The next one for us is the Universal trip with the BIL. Then, I'm hoping to get VGF. Since the MNSSHP was as crowded as it was, we are thinking about changing travel times to early June. Maybe we can also get some better prices on flights and won't have to drive all night.

Good Morning everyone! Hope all is well. Preds starting off the season 2-0 and showing more offense then I've ever seen makes me very very happy!

Universal is super fun! Disney is always going to have its 75%+ of the market, but it's fun to experience the other side. 2 day park to park is usually plenty of time to do everything you would want, feel free to ask any questions about universal.

MNSSHP did seem busier this year, not sure what we are doing next year other then the DL trip, thinking about a Nov trip for 2015 wine and dine 1/2 so I can get the coast 2 coast.

Morning guys,

Spent last night at ESPN to watch the Gator game. From the thrill of victory to the agony of defeat. The place would have blown up if the tight end caught the TD pass.

The Pirate Princess arrived about 1 am Friday. We spent the day at F&W and she went to town. They have a lot of vegetarian dishes and it was like someone sent to exile in Siberia that was suddenly welcomed to a feast for kings. I still remember eating at college so I let her have free run of the place.

Some of her high school friends go to UCF and she spent last night with them. Tonight is Hoop-dee-doo, nothing much else today. She also let me know that the kid that dared to date my daughter is NO LONGER the kid that dared to date my daughter. Nice kid but he needs to get his act together on what he wants to do with his life. She got tired of waiting for him to figure it out. Kind of feel bad for him........ But not much.

One of the things I enjoyed was the tasting and mixology seminars. This is the feature of a pastry seminar, a killer apple tort. The gave out the recipe but there is no way I am going to have the patience to make it.

For those that are and were down at the World the past week, thanks for all the pictures and write-ups. And for the reports coming out of New England. I sure wish I was traveling just about anywhere right about now, but hearing from y’all does help a bit.

The fall break started up this week for our young’en. But they had a home game Saturday so we couldn’t go fetch him until that evening. Good excuse to go up early and watch the game. Interesting… Started out with a 102 yard return of the opening kick; included two huge goal line stands (one for each side), an even mix between decent and bonehead play calls, a blocked field goal attempt and even a safety. Wacky game, but also a win. At 4, WCU now has 100% more wins this season then over the entirety of last year so they got that goin’ for ‘em at least. Then the next day Panthers end up in a tie with Cinci. Strange stuff.

Afternoon guys,

Another good day yesterday. The kid brought over a couple of friends (numbers 1 and 5 from the Sweet Sixteen trip report) to play in the pool for a bit (don't tell anyone). Last night was at Hoop. Better food than I remember from last time and of course the show was a lot of fun. I begged off going to the parks this morning so she went to AK. Tonight is MNSSHP.

Our waiter Rob or as he said, "Bor backwards." Really funny guy and he gave us a personalized pen after the show. Will make sure to fill out a comment card on him later.



The food was really, really good. Pigged out on chicken, mashed taters, corn and strawberry shortcake. Even the ribs, which I found lacking lacking last time, were good.



They now have a number of options for vegetarians and the kid chose the roasted vegetables. She liked it a lot.



And the cast is great as usual. A good time was had by all.

Not familiar with firecracker bourbon, but always willing to try something new. I'm sure it wasn't easy for her, but glad to hear she decided to move on from the guy. You helped develop that good head on her shoulders for her to make that decision.
