Morning Duck and the rest of you,

In honor of Scotland's vote today on if they will remain part of the United Kingdom or a separate nation, I made a full English breakfast. Eggs, sausage, bacon, and mushrooms. Scones (from Publix) of course. Passed on the baked beans though. Just so happens Saving Mr. Banks is also on. The last few days were a bit rough and today will be a series of difficult conference calls. Decided to at least start my day off right.

7:44 AM and work is done for the day. No emails. No meetings. So, I get to sit here enough hours until I go home. This job just steals the life away from me. And, since this is a state university, there is no chance of promotion or compensation based on ability or accomplishments.

Maybe you should try becoming a Disney travel agent? Since you have a phone, computer and lots of free time you can start a second career. Every dollar is one dollar close to Golden Oaks.

I have lots of fond memories of getting off that boat and skipping the movie.

Took the day off to go golfing yesterday. It's a rough life, but someone has to do it.

DD was asked to play on 2 other AAU hoop teams this fall when she is available. Both offered to have her play for free in hopes of convincing her to play in the Spring when state championships are. The end result is even more rushing from game to game. The fun part is going to be when we show up to a game in the wrong uniform.

Basement update: DW and contractor decided to nix the laminate bar counter and go with granite. $1300 later and now another week of waiting for that to be cut and installed and the 9/10 finish date keeps getting smaller and smaller in the rear view. They also figured out that the refrigerators I told them would not fit in the slot they built 3 weeks ago do not fit in the slot they built. They are rebuilding today. Painting is almost done and doors are all in. I am guessing we'll be finished while I am away in WDW.g I'll post some pics when done.

I liked the movie. I learned from someone on another thread that the Norwegians were embarrassed by that video since it was so old.

Skipping work, golfing, basketball kickbacks, and house renovations. That's some life.

We will be in WDW from 9/24-10/1. Hitting Tybee Island and Daytona on the way down and possibly Charlotte Motor Speedway on the way home.

We'll miss you by a few days.

I'm still available for that high paying assistant job where I live somewhere else and don't do any work. I think that job title is called politician.

Hey guys, checking in from Universal Cabana Bay Hotel, we are having a great time, I'm on pace to ride every ride and a few twice. I was alittle bummed to see men sitting on the shuttle bus back to the hotel as a woman and 2 children had to stand but I know not everyone lives by gentlemen code. I hope everyone's doing well, my feet are killing me but I'll manage for one more day.

Ohhhh I had the Butterbeer ice cream! And Beverly Beverly Beverly was it amazing! Tomm I will be making a butter beer ice cream float and may go into a sugar coma!

But no one here is whining about Disney vacations. Out in the real world, I'll hear some ask why I go to WDW so much, the lines were too long,too hot, etc. As a travel agent, if I told them to kiss my butt, or something a lot worse, then i probably wouldn't get much repeat business. Stay in my happy place.
