It was one of those thick plastic play-ones that come with a toddler's cash register set, but still...

It was good until the last 5 minutes. They gave up a couple of late goals to end up in a tie.

2 weeks, 2 hours and 45 minutes until my boy's first trip to WDW gets underway. Not that I'm counting or anything.

Very nice! Don't break it for the rest of us.

I was until we saw the Sox last night. Actually, the Fish have had their moments this year.

Sorry to say but despite what was widley reported, Jim is not the a$$hat many say. Had a great time last night despite the egg the Sox laid. Ugly game but Fenway is everything they say it is. Good time was had by all.

It was really a good time. Jim hooked us up big time with unbelievable seats, and CJ lost his credit card about an hour into the evening, giving us more ammo to bag on him all night. Good times.

Is that why I didn't see you guys in the 9th inning?

He "lost" it at about the time you spent $20 or $30 on a pretzel and beer, right?

July 30, 2014. Three grown men at a baseball game take a selfie. Teenage girls everywhere decide the fad is done and move on to something else.

When your as old as CJ, you tend to forget things. Paul and I were planning on booking a DCL trip until he cancelled the old card.

My last 4 day work week of the summer. I'm going to miss this schedule.

So instead of doing nothing for 4 days a week now you get to do it for 5 days a week? I don't see the problem.

Don't hate on the selfie. Didn't that make the dictionary as a new word? Also, so many disdad meet pictures have been captured that way. Next thing you'll be hating on it because it says KY on the shirt.

I love seeing KY shirts…. reminds me how UCONN beat them in their last 2 National Championships. {and also reminds me I need to get you a package- It will show up when you least expect it- hopefully not while you are on your death bed)

Yeah, not bad for one little school. All teams dream of beating the best. I guess that when you get to as many championships as UK, it isn't as big of a deal.

And, you don't owe me anything. We could have bet on UL stomping UConn last year, but I don't think they are is same conference anymore.

Good afternoon gentlemen,

Paint-a-palooza 2014 is done. Every room in the house has a fresh coat. The carpets have all been stain treated and the new couch for the man cave will be here on Tuesday.

The kids have been great. I'm still shocked that I've made it through most of a summer with two redheads and a community pool membership and haven't had to deal with any sunburn.

After being told last week I didn't get full time I finalized all of our appointments for Thursdays and Fridays. the grandparents who are watching the kids did the same. Then on Tuesday I go called back and told I am now full time with Mondays and Tuesdays off. So we have three weeks with no one to watch the munchkins. But in the long run, it'll be a lot better. I'll have a set schedule, PTO, and a much better health plan than DW's. I just need to survive the next 33 days.

It was fun to finally meet my nemesis in person. Good time even though the Sox are pretty bad over all. With Lester an Gomes to Oakland and now Lackey to the Cardinals it won't get much better. Thinking of actually asking for a tryout. I can hit .125 with warning track power and pitch at least 60 MPH. I'll fit right in.
