Well it's a Monday alright. After all the excitement of the kids having the same spring break and tying in my 50th into a 7 night cruise in March, DD tells me her spring break calendar has changed and is now 1 week earlier :furious: I have calmed down some since being told late last night but the utter disappointment of not being able to pull this off is just killing me  I have everyone re-confirming spring break schedules, DSs TSA schedule June / July and reviewing my work schedules in hopes of being able to change our reservation to another cruise this summer. Going to WDW with just one of them is o.k. but not a cruise with 1 of the kids missing :(

Gonna get all our possible available options together and then call DCL within the next couple of days to try and make something work out. Wish me luck and thanks for allowing the vent / good cry ;)

Ouch! The academic calendar conundrum strikes again.
Hope y’all can work it out for a different sailing.

Sounds like my summer schedule, except 6 was more like 8 & 3 was more like 2.

Yah…
I like your summer schedule better than my closing schedule.

Yes, I enjoyed buying the monorail and other playsets so that I, er..um..the dds could play. :lmao:

We knew what you meant there.

I get to do those types of weeks occasionally. The day usually ends with me snoring on the couch at 9:25pm.

Annnnnd, I foresee that being the direct outcome of my evening as well.

We have clearance, Clarence.

You may need to recheck that vector, Victor.

As Johny got older, he forgot he could simply distribute the apple seeds.

So much for the “apple a day” myth

I am Groot.

:lmao: :lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl:

He can't exactly say it, but I believe the verb in that sentence should be "was".

You mean the guy following him and taking the picture right? He is the one that is about to get a tree through the windshield.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

::yes::
My first though on seeing that was: Ok, so why exactly is it that you’re still following directly behind this yutz?

You Canadians take way too many days off.

I ain’t so sure…
Might just be we could learn a couple of things from them boys up that-a-way.

I hope it works out :thumbsup2

That's a bummer. I hope you can find a date that works for everyone.

Hope you get it all worked out.

That stinks. Good luck getting everything coordinated and finding a cruise. DW decided that she wanted to try a different cruise and not DCL. Can you believe it? :confused3 This battle may go on for a while. Seems the family is split 2-2 on DCL or non DCL. Stay tuned.
For all that is holly - another cruise line :duck:

Thanks gents - appreciate it

I feel your pain. I hope you can calibrate everyone's schedules. Stupid school!

Good Afternoon Men. 9 work days left before I get to say hello to Mickey Mouse. One day of golf and a beach party for the office in there as well that are non work days.

Tryouts for the kids begin this week. DS for baseball and hoop, DD for hoop. Looks like another crazy year assuming both make it.

Today I can start booking FP for the October double secret probation trip with DD. I'm thinking it will be a lot of MK and Epcot. She has mentioned that DA is open at US, but I ignored her and hopefully she'l forget.:good vibes

Missed a couple of days, heading back to see the wealth of wisdom missed. And it's Monday again. It seems like these Mondays come every week.:headache::rolleyes1
calm before the storm? Sounds like busy in a good way. Good luck with the trip preparations. Planning is half of the fun!

Golf, beach party and tryout - sounds like those 9 days will be flying by.

I would recommend that you avoid NCL but if you do, the cabins would not be comfortable for 4 people.

We are just less than 90 days out from our November trip. I'm already getting anxious. Mostly b\c of the hectic months leading up to the trip.
  • August is trying to fit in last summer fun while prepping for back to school.
  • September is getting adjusted to school and activities schedules as well as oldest's Bday
  • October is generally a plethora of Fall\Halloween activities complemented by my youngest's Bday.
Needless to say, the time will fly by and it will be time for some magic at WDW.
We have ADR's all set so it's just a matter of working out the minutia, you know like choosing our FP+ attractions :scared:

I'm starting the TR details in a Word doc, b\c I don;t want to jump through the hoops for pre-trip, live trip, closed trip. I'd rather do an all-in-one in the DVC Trip forum. I'm not sure how Norm manages to simply keep appending his. He has DISboard clout apparently. :scratchin

.

Me too. I might be able to return to it in November.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit amphetamines.

Shurley you're not serious?

I don't know either. I just found it still open so I put it there. I hope they keep it open as it has been fun putting all the trip reports in one thread. I wish I had thought of it two threads sooner.

You know, you can always substitute me in there. :lmao:  :scared1:

Good luck. If anyone can get it all rearranged, you can do it. :thumbsup2

You may want to keep the pot planting to yourself. Now we are all accomplices.:rolleyes1
:

We aren't accomplices until we smoke any of it.

You are not getting any sympathy from me, you don't even work when you go into the office.:lmao::rotfl2::lmao:
.

True. But now, there are more hours to not work. :lmao:

On the plus side, I do get to drive to campus this whole week.

This isn't rant worthy so decided to drop it in here rather than resurrect that thread, but I think I have discovered I am allergic to hops. Not only would that impact my consumption of adult beverages, it also happens to be one of my research responsibilities. :headache: Wonder if I could play that into a disability and early retirement. :rolleyes1

:sad1: Sorry to hear that.

Maybe a good time to switch to scotch though? :confused3 Are there any hops in there?

Ouch.
It looks like I'm going to have to explain hops to my daughters. I want them to understand why we are saying prayers for you tonight.

It's time for America Ninja Warrior. :happytv:

Since you live in Eastern KY, you are guaranteed to get disability. :lmao: :crazy2:

When DW managed Red Lobster, she developed an allergy to crab - not eating - but shelling them. Now, she is able to shell her order of crab legs with no problems. Maybe you just have been around them too long or handled too many?

Amazingly, I'm still not allergic to bourbon. :lmao:

That's not good but good luck on the disability part.

Thanks guys & sorry Norm, just got off the phone and all is switched to a July 7 night on the Fantasy. A few more bucks but beats loosing money or not able to go with all 4 of us. For those that question some of us "why do you always do Disney" - here's one for Disney as it was simple, easy and the cast member was outstanding :thumbsup2
