Hey guys..... Wow I only fell 26 pages behind I expected it to be worse. So far its taking a little to get used to. We are working 12 hour shifts 6 days a week. So my days consist of working out sleeping and working. I know I will not be making it back to read the rest of the pages so Prayers good vibes and Bacon for all.

I would also like to thank everyone for all the kind words that I saw to my last post.

That's a lot of work, but I'm sure it beats sitting around being idle so far from home. Stay safe, and thanks. :thumbsup2

‘Morning all…
Working the 6 to 3 schedule this week. I like getting out in the afternoon as you can get things done easier. But this getting up at the crack of darkness nonsense isn’t near so pleasant.

Holy crap was guardians of the galaxy awesome!!!!

That right there is just about the single most useful movie review I believe I’ve ever read.

All this bourbon talk got my thinking. After I recovered, I took DW there as it also has a restaurant. I had some bourbon flights, and believe the Four Roses was the best of them. I chased them with Dox Equis Amber for that international flavor. Sadly, they don't have draft beer there. We also enjoyed an cheese thing appetizer, filet, and pecan pie for dessert. Then, we walked down to the riverfront and enjoyed some music. It was a good night.

Mmmmm…
That whole evening sounds neigh on to perfect.
The flight just raises it to a whole n’other level.

Don’t worry about keeping up, we’ll be here when you get back home.
You just stay safe and make sure you do get back here.
And thanks for all that tough work sir.

Welcome!
Grab a beer, pull up a chair and join in on the conversation.
We ain’t really ever talking about anything in particular, mostly we just talking. So anything you care to add will be relevant by default.

Morning, It's Simcoe day/Civic Holiday here, no matter what you all it, I call it a day off. :thumbsup2 Also sadly, it's Day 17 of the 17 days off, tomorrow gotta head back to work.

Not feeling up to catching up 16 pages or so, so prayers, congrats and welcomes to all. Hoping it's been a troubles-free week for everyone.

Week away was great, weather wasn't as big a factor and it improved as the week went on. Very relaxing, the highlight I think was the hiking trails in Algonquin, I really enjoy it.

Welcome back. Saw some of the pictures on Facebook, looks like it was a nice relaxing vacation.

Well it's a Monday alright. After all the excitement of the kids having the same spring break and tying in my 50th into a 7 night cruise in March, DD tells me her spring break calendar has changed and is now 1 week earlier :furious: I have calmed down some since being told late last night but the utter disappointment of not being able to pull this off is just killing me  I have everyone re-confirming spring break schedules, DSs TSA schedule June / July and reviewing my work schedules in hopes of being able to change our reservation to another cruise this summer. Going to WDW with just one of them is o.k. but not a cruise with 1 of the kids missing :(

Gonna get all our possible available options together and then call DCL within the next couple of days to try and make something work out. Wish me luck and thanks for allowing the vent / good cry ;)

Going to be a rough week. I have to work Friday to noon and until 5:30 each other day. Maybe I should call in sick.

Sounds like my summer schedule, except 6 was more like 8 & 3 was more like 2.

Followed on FB. Looked fun.

DD got a Minnie Mouse "travel set", DS got an avengers play set, and DW got a mickey sweatshirt... I got an increased CC bill.

Though I will probably get a lot of mileage out of that Avengers play set. ;)

Yes, I enjoyed buying the monorail and other playsets so that I, er..um..the dds could play. :lmao:

Yeah, me too. DW and I both went to private schools and had far less days off. My DD's have a ton of in-service days. Every year we have Mon\Tue off for conferences so we try and go to WDW that week. Bc we got AP's this year, we'll have to go in October next year. We're trying to find a week where there's at least one day of school off.
.

We get the whole week, usually before Columbus Day weekend. Thus, school should start around the 25th, not 13th.

I get to do those types of weeks occasionally. The day usually ends with me snoring on the couch at 9:25pm.

That's a bummer. I hope you can find a date that works for everyone.

Good Afternoon Men. 9 work days left before I get to say hello to Mickey Mouse. One day of golf and a beach party for the office in there as well that are non work days.

Tryouts for the kids begin this week. DS for baseball and hoop, DD for hoop. Looks like another crazy year assuming both make it.

Today I can start booking FP for the October double secret probation trip with DD. I'm thinking it will be a lot of MK and Epcot. She has mentioned that DA is open at US, but I ignored her and hopefully she'l forget.:good vibes

Missed a couple of days, heading back to see the wealth of wisdom missed. And it's Monday again. It seems like these Mondays come every week.:headache::rolleyes1

Holy Peanut Butter. Unbelievable.

It has had virtually no stress on it through the growing year. Rains have come at the perfect times. The cool weather 2 or 3 weeks ago hit right when it was pollinating. We really couldn't have asked for more cooperative weather. A little more moisture and heat through the next month or so to finish it off and we should be looking at a record breaker.

Unfortunately, it isn't worth anything. But we'll have a lot of it. :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

Great news on the weather and growing season, not so great on the price not being high enough. Hope it works out in the long run. At least the stress of crappy weather was avoided.

Over 10 pages behind so rather than try to catch up, prayers for those in need, welcome new Dads, and bacon for all. Crazy week and still way behind but just put a deposit down for 5 days in the world next year for 20th anniversary so it isn't all bad.

Congrats on the trip and an early congratulations on the 20th in case I forget. We are on year 18. Surprised I'm still allowed in the house.

Holy crap was guardians of the galaxy awesome!!!!

Saw it on Saturday night. It was a great movie and set records for August releases. Looks like a new franchise for Marvel may be in the cards......and these ones can go into the parks!

Morning all. It is another beautiful day here with highs in the 80s. Next weekend will be the last calm one for a while as school starts the 13th along with soccer and swim. The summer has just flown by as usual.

We don't start school until Sept. 4th after labor Day. Of course we also don't get that October break like you do and are in school until the end of June. I don't know who's doing the schedule, but they need to get a talkin to.

Hey guys. Off to take the kids to the Disney store... Been bribing them to be good since we moved in, $1 a day for no incidents, pus money to do chores, etc... They've saved up enough to go blow it all... :headache:

Elsa dress for DD should be in next week before our trip. We found someone in NH that makes custom dresses. That is where every penny DD earned this summer went. At least she'll be able to wear it when we go away.

Afternoon gents. Happy shopping and movie going to yas. Wrapped up yard work and thought you would enjoy this pic of some of our summer gardening. Enjoy your Sunday guys.

:eek: How many Mickey's and Minnie's are there. Don't you know your only supposed to see one at a time.:confused3

Looks great. We are missing the Disney presence in our garden unfortunately.

Hiya everyone. could of swore i had a dis username when i was in my teens but for the life of me cannot remember what the username or email were lol.

Welcome to the nut house.

Continued prayers and appreciation to you sir and wishes of strength to your DW & DS.

Actually team effort with DW planting the pot and me doing the rest.

You may want to keep the pot planting to yourself. Now we are all accomplices.:rolleyes1

Good morning guys :)

Hey Duck!

Happy New Brunswick Day!

If any of you need an extra day off, tell your boss you are on your way to my place to celebrate NB Day.

You Canadians take way too many days off.

That stinks. Good luck getting everything coordinated and finding a cruise. DW decided that she wanted to try a different cruise and not DCL. Can you believe it? :confused3 This battle may go on for a while. Seems the family is split 2-2 on DCL or non DCL. Stay tuned.

Going to be a rough week. I have to work Friday to noon and until 5:30 each other day. Maybe I should call in sick.

You are not getting any sympathy from me, you don't even work when you go into the office.:lmao::rotfl2::lmao:
