Morning all. Home with the dds today. I need to get an oil change for the vehicle and cut the weeds in the front yard.

Last night, we went to celebrate youngest dd indoor soccer camp (futsal) achievement. They did mini-tournament games all week (4V4) rotating teams, but kept all their individual points. My youngest dd not only finished on the grand champion team (top 5 out of 50), but she was the overall goal scorer and won the Ronaldo award. The kids seemed to take it better than the parents of the boy children who lost to a girl.

Sweet. When I'm a judge (soon), free jail time for all!!!

No jail time for me as I have a free legal advice. Do you think you have the Judge spot? I thought it wasn't looking good there at one point.

Gatlinburg. Our "even years" trip with the in-laws. BIL and I have acquired a Nerf armory for this trip. There will be 4 big boys in the mid-20's to mid-30's age range. I'm sure nothing will get broken and nobody will be injured.

Hit AAA today to pick up a tour book for Boston. Need to figure out what I want to do when I am up there. I would be open to suggestions but am afraid Jim will direct me to the places that are guaranteed to get me killed.

I can give you some good recommendations. I'll do my best to keep you away from the winter hill gang and the rest of Whitey's crew...

Back to BLT. Didn't you go Spring Break this year? The weather may be hotter but the crowds should be lower.

Yeah we were at BLT in April. This trip is offsite.

We've got enough DVC points to do an every other year usage. So the even years we go with my parents and use their Marriott timeshare. They own in Hilton Head and also Myrtle Beach, so we transferred into Orlando with one of their properties.

It's extremely hard staying offsite after having experienced 2 week long vacations at BLT!

Maybe I can convince my parents to sell one of their Marriott properties and buy into DVC!!! Yeah, that's it!

I think that might be wishful thinking.....but I agree, a trip offsite to WDW is better than no trip at all!

And we really do enjoy our stays at their home Marriott resorts in Hilton Head and Myrtle Beach as well, so they are good to have.

I was thinking of that today when I called Member Services to get a replacement card. We bought on July 1, 1996 (Opening Day at BW) and the Pirate Princess was just two. Can't count the number of vacations we took for that investment and it made trips like Hawaii feasible. So glad we were able to jump on it early and sign then. Need to break out some of the old pictures. Can't remember if there was color photography back then though.

Some fool took out one of the electric poles in our neighborhood yesterday. It was well into the very AM before the utility could straighten the mess out. It’s been a while since I tried to sleep in a house that more resembled a smelter then a domicile; didn’t go too well. I might have to call it quits early today and start drinking heavily to speed the recovery. Might just have to pack up and head out to the coast for a week of RnR while I’m at it. Odd… I think that was my plan for today in the first place.

I see no flaws in that plan. Have fun.

Beautiful place. The Nerf battles sound fun but you might want to get the location of the nearest ER before you get there.

Any food "must eats" recommendations would be useful. Chowder (of however they pronounce it) or Lobster rolls?

Don't thank me, thank his wife and MIL. It was a good run while it lasted. Last year I was in a lobby of a hotel in Europe watching the live stream of the end of game 7 against the Spurs. A fun, very early, morning. I wish him and Bosh nothing but good luck. Great players, class acts. Especially Bosh.

As long as one of them is not Carmelo. Riley built championship teams twice and with all the money available I think he can do it again. It is going to be interesting to see what is going to happen.
