Good morning Ownage! hope all is well. How close are we to a "race to close the thread"? I'm 90 post from 2k lol

You're the last person EVERYONE thinks about on Father's day...
And again he throws down the Canadian gauntlet. And he's been doing secret recon trips to the Midwest. Hmm, invasion from the great white north....

Let me be the first to say, I do not envy you right now!

Nothing a stiff drink won't fix...

And you were where when this was happening? Weren't you there supporting and helping your DW?

:rotfl2:

Man I am so glad I have a son!

Supporting, and helping... hell no! :rotfl2:

We agreed she would have the talk with DD, and I would with DS... bought myself a couple years.

epic-star-wars-nooo-o.gif

Amen bro!

:faint: I think we are getting close to that point here too...:headache:

We kibnda were forced to... school is still in for another week and a half, and they sent a newsletter home saying this week they will be learning about it, so please talk to them before hand.

I find myself telling my DD's "Don't ride the dog" way more than I am comfortable with.
Does anyone else have this problem?

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

There may be another talk required there...

Brian, no need for the "talk" here. All four of my girls will be nuns so I'm just skipping over that part.

Your talk's easy... you can even sgow them the video.

And then when Mommy and Daddy love each other, they have a fund raiser, fly half way around the world, and bring back 4.... that's right 4 :scared1: :scared1: loving children.

And again he throws down the Canadian gauntlet. And he's been doing secret recon trips to the Midwest. Hmm, invasion from the great white north....

I was just running away to get as far from the situation as I could...

Actually guys, it went really well. She wasn't shocked, or grossed out... she took it quite well, and had just a couple questions which DW handled like a pro.

No dog riding issues but I don't like need to repeat myself on a daily basis.

I should keep my trip into NY State quiet then?

See guys. The snow this winter wasn't enough for them. Now they're going to try to export it in the summer

I don't think it's in this years curriculum, but I think she's back a couple of grades. But nonetheless there are " signs" that it's coming. Ugh.

Well you certainly won't be able to claim that you didn't see any characters!
If only they had a meal for Anna and Elsa... :lmao:

That's a lot of character meals... will save a lot of time on the in park meet and greets.
That was the plan. We're doing dining plan so we figured we'd get the best bang for our buck this way. We'll still be paying out of pocket for a couple of meals. Probably Via Napoli and one of the breakfasts.

:rotfl::rotfl2::lmao: Good luck with that one!

And her speech about what a fine husband and father you are...Wow... you got a good woman there. She clearly lies... but a real good woman though!

Good morning guys! We all had a good first day home yesterday. We played soccer, taught the newer kids to hit a ball (plastic set from Grandma), and had lots of laughs! Unfortunately, my twins both have colds so last night was an early night for them. DW is adjusting to the time difference well. I let her sleep in yesterday while I took care of breakfast. For those who don't yet know, electric griddles rock!! I was cooking six pancakes at a time.
You must have to set up an assembly line at each meal. And what do you drive around in, a 15 passenger van purchased used from a former summer camp or something? (And I hope the girls start feeling better soon!)

Morning Guys,

Looks like another nice day here in the east. Couple pf meetings today but otherwise it should be a quiet day.

So where where you on this day:

There is another kind of griddle? :confused3 :lmao:

So does that mean your oldest son will inherit your kingdom and your youngest will become a priest? :rotfl2:

Still working on the transportation part. We won't be going to alot of places this summer that we can't just use two vehicles. I am looking at those passenger vans, but really have my eye on this:

Another beautiful day. Played tennis again last night and can hardly walk this morning. DW asked why I was moving my arms and I told her it was to attempt to get my legs moving. I should have just stayed sitting on the couch. :crazy2:

Here's to Tony Gwynn. Never was a Padres fan, but he was a great hitter, and from the articles, a good man.

Also, go team USA. Are we up against Portugal?

I think we have to be at 250 to begin the close. I'm confident you can hit Your2K.

Yup, you'll be making lots more pancakes and everything now. Hope everyone continues adjusting and the twins get over their colds.

Big Night here... DW had "The Talk" with DD... :scared1:

SWMBO will have to handle that in a few years with DD theoretically, though DD won't be allowed to date as long as I am alive and not senile. DS wants nothing to do with women thankfully, because I've forgotten how it all works.

I find myself telling my DD's "Don't ride the dog" way more than I am comfortable with.
Does anyone else have this problem?

No. Only because we don't have a dog I am sure. I'm still at the "Don't put it down, put it away" stage.

Barry, congrats on the play set score. I loved seeing the pics. I only wish Ryder wasn't so serious in all of them, lol

Andy, nice job on the ADR's!

Prayers and good vibes to those who need them!

Welcome home and prayers for a peaceful transition for all.

The Philippines. Even made it on the news over there.

What about this?

Great show but I've heard if you don't want your illusions about Mama Partridge ruined, you shouldn't read the Shirley Jones biography.

You know you're getting old when it takes two or three tries to get off the couch.

That looks like bus Barry had for the Disdads party bus :thumbsup2

Yup. I even found one right near you!

It needs a little work. (And by that, I mean flames painted on the sides)

‘Morning all…
Summer arrives officially Saturday, but it’s long since made itself at home in practice.
Mid 90s by noon, 90% on the humidity and little wind to speak of.
Now that’s air one can grab by the handful and carry around in buckets.
A fine illustration of why the one invention that has truly changed our country the most…
is air-conditioning.

Big Night here... DW had "The Talk" with DD... :scared1:

So did your girl get your DW all straightened out?
And what are you planning to have DS explained to you when you get around to that one?

Good morning guys! We all had a good first day home yesterday. We played soccer, taught the newer kids to hit a ball (plastic set from Grandma), and had lots of laughs! Good to hear from you sir. Better still to hear that everyone in settling in.
May that continue and the colds subside quickly.

Humm, Interesting plan…
You’ll have to keep us undated on how that one works out in the long run.

Good morning Ownage! hope all is well. How close are we to a "race to close the thread"? I'm 90 post from 2k lol

Not hardly, but you go on ahead an post all you want.
We certainly ain’t got no rules against it.

We kibnda were forced to... school is still in for another week and a half, and they sent a newsletter home saying this week they will be learning about it, so please talk to them before hand.

Yep… Good they warned you.
But I still figure that the presenter will stand in front of the group and the first question from the kids in the room will be:
“Ok, like… ummmm… so what is it you want to know?”

You can't lie on the Internet, so it must be true.

Oh sure… We’re all buyin’ into that one.

So where where you on this day:

oj_simpson_the_chase.jpg_c314ea24366a75dc9923e5b639857ed3

Shaking my head in shame as my nation embarrassed me beyond all belief.
And we’ve done little to redeem ourselves since.

What about this?

Here's to Tony Gwynn. Never was a Padres fan, but he was a great hitter, and from the articles, a good man.

Was sad to hear that as well.
There are only just so many class acts and it’s a loss for all when one leaves us too early.

Also, go team USA. Are we up against Portugal?

Yep. And Portugal will be without one of its better athletes as well.
Of course they’re still ranked fourth in the world and ticked off about losing the other day,
but still…

:rotfl:

I don't think Portugal realized the World Cup had started. It will be interesting to see what they do the next game.

I believe I was at a Peter Gabriel concert at the Skydome.

Then what you were seeing and hearing was infinitely better than the idiocy inflicted on the rest of us.

Not to mention I like’s me some Pete; fine musician there.
