Wow did I just have a shock. I follow Gator sports writers and one of them tweeted a man was arrested in Gainesville for holding women against their will. Out of curiosity I looked at the article and was flabbergasted that it was someone I knew 30 years ago. Post college, I worked with his later to be wife (divorced a while ago) and we often did things together. Football games, golf, BBQs etc. Not the guy I knew. Just shacking my head.

Good morning Dads and happy Friday Eve - today known as thirsty Thursday. I hear that :thumbsup2
:

No work Fridays this summer for me. Time to enjoy my three day weekend.

Talked to DW and the embassy appointment went well. The visas for the kids will be ready tomorrow. That means my family is coming home on Sunday!!!

A great big Happy Father's Day.

Most of the felons I know are in the family, and the charges are mostly alcohol related.

Great pic. So I think I'm going to run one of my races as boba fett. Hard to say. Running as Elsa might work too. Hell, they're putting her in everything anyways.

Will it have a working jet pack and roller skates?

Morning Guys.

I think it is Thirsty Thursday.

It's thirsty today. That way, everyday is drinking day. pirate:

‘Morning all…
I’ll take one of those beers if you’ll send it on down this way.
It’s been a long week so far.

::yes:: I'll even talk two.

I talked with SWMBO and the tax deductions a bit ago at the vacation :headache: house and realized June is my worst month. Busy with field work, end of the fiscal year, and all grant reporting and work reports need to be finished as well. Lets of Excel charts tonight.

:cool1: Best Father's Day present ever. Prayers for safe and peaceful travels for all.

Yes, we can do lunch or at least a meet up. I was planning to head to a spot near you and then after lunch head to NY. We don't have agate that night I believe so it's just getting there at a reasonable time and the drive is about 6 hours with SRV's. Let me know what the best time and place would be and we can get it set. Paul needs to know as well.

Our train gets in at 10:30 and I think we would be at the hotel around 11 if everything is on time. I don't know much about getting around Boston but I think we are near the Faneuil Hall Marketplace if that works for you an Paul.

If not, let me know what would work better.

30 years ago I was in high school. How old are you?:lmao::lmao:

Works for me. Faneuil Hall has a few good places to eat. Dick's Last Resort is a fun type place or there are a few seafood places. There are a few other decent places not too far away as well. I'll plan to be in town around 11.

30 years ago, I was in elementary school.

Yes, the end of fiscal year in KY. I have all my reports done, except for what I have to add the remainder of this month.

30 years ago, I was in elementary school...

Thirty years ago I was in college back when the legal drinking age was 18 and had never turned on a computer. Now

GET OFF MY LAWN!!!!

Couldn't bring myself to do charts so I did the years worth of statistical contacts and success stories. Maybe this year I will do them every month like I am supposed to. :lmao:

Good news, Bad news. Bad news is that the Disney trip will be shortened by a day. Good news is that we'll add an extra day of vacation and CJ still has to buy the beers.

So, I'm going to call MS tomorrow, cancel Thursday at the BWV, and add Thursday and Friday at Vero Beach Resort. I guess adding an extra vacation day isn't all that bad. We'll stick around for Welcome Home Wednesday and then drive down Wed evening to VBR.

Ummm, yah… there’s gonn’a be a problem with that, so we’re gonn’a need you to go ahead and run those down here to us. Ahhh, and since were trying to play catch up here we’re also going to need you to do that tomorrow as well, Ok, so that would be great.

;)

Ummm...No. Delivery of said alcoholic beverages was clearly part of the agreement. You'll have to deliver.

Yeah, bit of a sticky wicket there....I don't drive :rotfl2:

Plus we don't deliver. But I did wait patiently by the door, I left 6 carts full waiting.

Older than dirt. I had just gotten out of college so you aren't that far behind me.

30 years ago, I was in elementary school.

Keep quiet you pup.

GET OFF MY LAWN!!!!

Started college at 17 and had to wait a few months before I reached that milestone. Luckily they were a little lax in enforcing the drinking age. One of the reasons I joined a Fraternity.

Computers? As a Political Science major we were still using stone tablets. Some of my classmates were into computers but we thought they were off a bit. Probably millionaires by now.

I guess there is still hope SWMBO will change your mind and make you head to the beach earlier.
