Assuming you mean for someone who can't drive a manual transmission. I learned to drive one as my first two vehicles were manual. I had the one when DW and I met, and I tried to teach her to drive it. So, I know that feeling. I would buy be now, but they probably make a more expensive add on.

Yes, that is what I meant. The first car I bought was a manual. I still miss it. I tried to teach the wife as well; it didn't go that great. I wish I could buy one but it goes back to the fact that we share our cars.

Glad to hear you guys are having a great time Paul but I do agree with Scott. ;):lmao:

DS and his team lost both their ball games today. Declan chipped in with about 20 points, a bunch of rebounds, blocks and even a few steals. I was glad to see him play well with a team that certainly is the weakest he has played with in awhile. It was their first games together for a short spring season and the coaches did a lot of line juggling. 1 more game tomorrow for this tournament.

Happy Derby Day guys, Kind of a mixed day. A good friend recently passed away and as a Kentucky native he loved Derby week. First time in about 20 years we did not exchange emails and wagers on the race. Many times I made his wife's recipe for burgoo for a Derby party. In his memory, I will stand like he did every year when they play, "My Old Kentucky Home." Already there. Not French Quarter but crazy. Love the Quarter, by far my favorite moderate. Glad the surprise went well and looking forward to video.
Sorry about your friend CJ - hope you enjoyed the race

For years, my brother drove from Buffalo with some of his buddies for Derby weekend. Many stories about the goings on in the infield. Possible bucket list for me.

Larry's dad filed the incorporation papers for Maker's Mark and he knew the owners well. Not well enough to sit in their box for the Derby but he did for the Oaks. .

The Oaks is the home town secret. Less crowds and still great races.

As for thr derby, the infield was perhaps on of the best parties of all time. The weather was beautiful, and i partied with 50,000 people, topless college girls, topless college girls playing chicken on guys shoulders, music, food, and yeah, an horse race. We could see what maybe was some jockeys wearing some hats for a few seconds 9 times that day.

Do they even make them anymore? We need two cars as i drive long distances for work (and get reimbursed). Last year, DW did get a new used Camry, but I never considered a manual transmission for her.

Tough loss, but congrats to him on a good game.

Good morning from Warsaw. Slept a whole 12 hours last night. I never do that, but I was in daddy mode for the middle flight so I only had an hour nap.

It was raining when we arrived so we didn't get to do much but relax. We are staying with friends here and then we head up north on Monday. We did have pizza for lunch and it was delicious.

Today we are going sightseeing in Old Town which was rebuilt after WWII to exactly the way it was before it was destroyed. Most of the areas we have seen still ring of communist design and blah effect. Looking forward to meeting our kids on Tuesday!

Good morning and Happy Star Wars day to all. Hanging out with DS watching SW movies last night and this morning. Hawks game this afternoon and some steaks on the grill at the request of DD as she has her surgery tomorrow morning. Enjoy the Sunday and congrats to the kids on their accomplishments.

Congrats to Hunter and you on the SW weekend Fathers Day. Make sure you take in the SW fireworks as DHS.

Very cool. We expect lots of pictures and stories here and on your blog. On Tuesday, tell the kids their Did Dad Uncles said hello. Or rather Cześć.

That would be nice to get reimbursed for driving to work. Of course I live 5 miles from work so it really is not needed. I wouldn't consider getting her one but I would like one. I think you can only get them in like the sports cars or like the turbo versions of cars.

I can put 150 miles day on occasion. I wish they would just give me a car, but it's a great way to pass on all those business expenses to me. :sad2:

Just a note, 17 years ago today Yehaa Bob first took the stage at Riverside. Thinking we may visit him again this upcoming trip. If you haven't seen it, he puts on a great show.

May the 4th be with my fellow Disdads! In celebration I finally broke down and bought the saga, preparing to watch in Machete Order, 4,5,2,3,6 for the first time.
