Good morning guys, it's blow up the kidney stones day! Good luck and what are your targets for ADRs? Morning sir

Good luck!

Good luck. Now to blow them up do they use tnt or c4? Hope it all goes well.

SCTV flashback: That'll blow 'em up real good!

Hey Brent.:wave2: Not yet. Trying to work out the baseball/work schedule right now. I know we have playoffs at some point in July, but they are not posted yet. Hopefully I'll have some more information soon. Per above, the first week and second week are unlikely at this point due to tourney and work getting in the way.

That's okay the girls are with their grandparents in Sarnia for the first two or three weeks anyways. I booked the last two weeks of July off for myself

I don't know if F&W would be going then. I got a bottle of Kronenburg there, the same one they had at Chefs de France. .

Hell with Kronenberg, the have Chimay Blue there, smooth AND around 9-10% alcohol so it can act as a rum substitute. Arrr.

We got a late reservation last year, but it took calling continually for about a month. It seems you have to get lucky by calling as someone else cancels. If you don't get it right away, don't give up. Keep trying back and maybe you'll get lucky. I actually think we got TikkiDaddy's cancellation when he rebooked earlier last year.:thumbsup2 180 days, but there seems to be a way to do it sooner for some since certain ones are always gone when we get to 180 days. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

That was just freaky. I basically checked twice a day online and I lucked out one morning to get the original ressie, then kept checking to see if I could grab a different time. Persistence paid off. You were seated as we were heading out. I should have pretended to be your waiter. Heh.

Thank you! Hate admitting this but I have never had Tonga Toast and it sounds amazing so wanted to make it a must have this trip.
.

They sell it at Captain Cooks as well, but they didn't have the strawberry stuff that comes with it like in Kona. You must get the strawberry stuff with it. Yum! Captain Cooks is going thru a refurb now or for October trip - can't remember. They also have a self-serve Dole Whip machine (ice cream only). Maybe they have pineapple juice there in the case and I missed it.

At BoG or Chefs? I didn't see many choices.

I AM DONE FOR THE WEEK and there is light at the end of the tunnel! Taxes are done and while it hurts, it is not as catastrophic as I thought it would be. Long story. That and a bunch of other issues seem to be coming to a close. The kid is also coming home in a couple of weeks.

Celebrating by going to lunch for some fried shrimp and maybe a cocktail. Then tomorrow night there are a couple of basketball games I am interested in watching.

Haven't been here for a while and I only went back a couple of pages...

Hey CJ! If you want to watch baseball today, the Red Sox have the WS celebration for the home opener this afternoon. :cool1: Just in case you are looking for something to do today. Didn't want you to miss it.

Oh, and how are the Marlins doing?:confused3:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Unlike the Phats, I have no animosity toward your baseball team and occasionally root for them. If I was in Boston and you had tickets, I would be there. Always wanted to go to Fenway. Might even buy you a beer.

Marlins are currently 3-1 but it is early yet.

Last week I was headed down to Okeechobee with the little guy and we had a blast...some pics from last week:

Great pics Fed and great memories.

:cool1::cool1: Flights booked for October DD birthday trip. :cool1::cool1: We will be flying in on 10/3 and leaving on 10/8. I was told DD can only miss 3 days of school so I will pick her up on Friday after school and head straight to the airport. Return on Wednesday. Now to find a MNSSHP date that works.:scratchin

Doing your taxes is enough to ruin anyone's week. Glad it's done and over. Hopefully you get past all the bad and get on to some happy times.

You name the time to come to Boston and I'll get you a seat right behind home plate so you can be on TV. I owe you at least 2 drinks now so I'll even include the beer!:thumbsup2

Good luck to Florida. I picked them in my bracket and they are the only team I have left.

It looks like the poorly planned football trip to Miami to see the game has been put on hold this year. Just booked an October trip for DD and I to go the World for her birthday with the funds earmarked for football. Couldn't find any good flights for SW (Manchester or Worcester) to use points so had to buy the tickets on JetBlue and fly out of Logan. There were plenty of connecting flights, but prefer direct. Any chance you are in the are 10/4-10/8?

Thank you, BoG dinner , it's a MNSSHP expected so holding on to hope on that one and Kona Cafe for breakfast, that one should work out. If BoG doesn't pan out then we will prob do dinner at hotel before MNSSHP.

Good luck we enjoyed Kona and BoG is really good for lunch.

If memory serves, it looks like there is a MNSSHP on Sun (5) and Thurs (9). I think we are going Sunday the 5th. There may be one on the 3rd, but not sure.

Had a Dole Whip at Capt. Cooks last trip and I also didn't see pineapple juice so more then likely none

Mini Convention hopefully on Saturday the 4th

Thank you, I'll update what happens before I leave for Chattanooga in the morning.

Would love to head to Fenway with you, but it is unlikely this season. Who knows though. Not sure about owing two, Florida is also my only Final Four. I would check but all that red on my bracket makes me ill.

If it changes and you do catch the game, let me know.

You know Randall goes through all this work to create our little clubhouse. Part of that is a post listing everyone that wants to let the group know, their vacation dates. Sorry Randall, SOME PEOPLE don't appreciate your work.

I get in the 8th and you are heading out then. Although, you may have checked and PURPOSELY decided to leave on the 8th. Conspiracy? Too bad though, would have liked to have met your daughter. Yea, even you.

Shrimp cocktail?

Yes and Yes.

Everyone have a great weekend and GO GATORS!

You aren't looking at this with the right perspective. The important thing is that I get to meet with both you and Jim. :lmao:

um, No! Go Cats.

Sure... You can park it on the neutral ground.

Thanks. CJ seems to be hesitant for me to park my camper in his front yard. It is good to know I have options. :lmao:

10 inches of fresh heavy wet snow fell this morning and school was canceled. Clear skies and sunny now. Skipped work at 4pm to go clear it off the driveway and what a p.i.t.a.

It won't last long though.

Have a great weekend everyone. I think it is time I get back on my Trip Report!

At BoG or Chefs? I didn't see many choices.

I was thinking BOG, I remember reading the alcoholic drink menu, I love to see the mark-up prices.

I was stuck digging out of the snow...

Almost gone here except the bigger drifts, and some ugly patches of snow/ice that are nearly black from all the dirt/salt/exhaust fumes etc

Thank you, I'll update what happens before I leave for Chattanooga in the morning.

DW and I were able to get a BoG FP for lunch in May so just remember to keep trying if you don't get it that or there's always lunch too.

As of right now this trip, BoG lunch isn't an option, because of our short stay we are only doing MNSSHP, but are leaving that day open to possibly doing a park during the day. Thursday we get in so late, Friday is Expo and MNSSHP and Saturday is open but because of the 5k and 10miler Saturday is a relax and shop day.
