Thanks to all for your kind "welcome backs", and I'm wondering about something, maybe someone here knows without me trying to find the paperwork. I have the Disney Visa card and there is a Disney store close by me. I'm probably going to pick up some Disney t - shirts for the grandkids before our May vacation, but I'm wondering if anybody knows if I'll earn extra points or any other incentives for using the card at a Disney Store? This New York winter has been a killer. I need me some more of the World. Let me ask you guys something, after 10 trips there, over about 10 years, I still think about Disney every single day. Do i need professional help?

Good morning guys. DD came home yesterday and is heading out this morning to the beach with friends for spring break. Welcome to the world of a Dad with college daughter heading to the beach on spring break - ugh! One week from today the rest of the family will be at the world starting our trip off at Raglan Road to kick off St Pats weekend. Have a good weekend guys and enjoy the weather improvements.

Evening Guys. Last night in Florida, we fly home in the morning. I got a round of golf in this morning at Grand Cyprus. Happy with a 98 after not playing for 6 months and using clubs belonging to someone else. Started strong (just about drove the green on 1), had a terrible middle and scrambled to finish with some decent holes. The one big minus for that day was that it was flippin' cold, 59 degrees when we finished just after lunch. That's not the Florida weather I was looking for. Overall it was a great trip and now I can look forward to our cruise in July.

Sorry 'bout the temp but playing golf and being at the world ain't all bad. Sounds like you had a good week - safe travels

No, no I don't. I too think about Disney everyday. Nothing wrong with a healthy Disney obsession.

As a father of a daughter who is headed off to college next year, .
Ragland Road on St Pats day sounds pretty nice, though I imagine that they may be a bit busy.

Yep, I have that check-in is 8:15 next to City Hall. Hopefully it is too warm for the jersey but will have something with a Hawk logo on it

The car is in the shop and I am waiting for a call saying it is fixed. Big repair job on the steering and finally getting the tires replaced. I am not going to sweat it though. Monday will be crazy with DR.s appointments and probably more tests. Insurance is jerking me around saying I need a referral before she sees the specialist but the doctor they assigned her no longer is part of their coverage.

Nevertheless, a much needed day to relax. The Pirate Princess made it home early yesterday morning and is in Homestead with the twins next door. They stopped at a local farm and we have fresh corn, tomatoes and cukes for a potential BBQ tomorrow.

About to open a bottle of wine and watch Florida try to go 18-0 in league play. Go Gators! Have a good one guys. Oh and GO GATORS!

I'll have two off on their own several years from now. I worry about it, just because we know what every guy thinks about. Still, all we can do is teach them best we can and pray for the best.

I don't know aböut extra points. You get the %, depending on which card you have (no fee or annual fee). Sometimes the Disney stores will offer discounts if you spend over $50 when using the Disney Visa. Your local store may have something completely different.

I haven't thought much about the MBs yet because I don't like wearing things on my wrist. Our first set are arriving this week, buti just ordered the same colors for the October trip. I have all my old KTTW cards, MNSSHP tickets, etc and my plan is to make a print out of them, with a Disney design in the middle. I don't know what I'm doing with the MBs.

I like that idea. I was thinking some sort of sculpture thing, if we got new bands for each and every trip. I was thinking a 3D Mickey head, but that would take a lot of bands.

Yeah it would take a lot of them but think how cool it would look.... I have toyed with putting my name then putting like the hotel like "Alex BLT" (in my dreams I know) then I would have the resort listed on the band like an extra souvenir.

While that sounds good I have to think eventually they will get wise and stop giving them to all the people who already have them. Of course I say this when I am going to have 9 and that's not including the two I can get for being a pass holder.
