...A major pain I’m sure. I forget all the details behind the second residence. Is the market still too bad in that area to sell it or are there other things going on that just make it difficult?

Poor market, don't want to take a loss, it serves as escape for the rest of the family, and we wouldn't buy here even if it did sell. Our research location is next on the hit list if the university's budget gets worse.

We really don't stress over it anymore other than it is frustrating not being able to keep up with anything the way I would like. I have my own thoughts on why things are playing out the way the are but only time will tell if I am correct.

Wife is leaving for Vegas on Monday for some kind of work technology convention. Me? Oh I get to stay home and take care of two 6-year olds until Friday morning.

BUT, Friday we do get to drive to Disney's Hilton Head Island, so maybe that will be worth it? :confused3

And I don't get Columbus Day off!

Whoa, that place and "The Lodge", which is in the same network, look AWESOME, :thumbsup2

How far are they from the resort? I havent looked up a ton on location stuff yet, wasn't sure if we could walk to anything or not.

I have never eaten at The Lodge so I don't know about that. You will have to drive to Skull Creek Boathouse it is not in walking distance. Most things are not there. There is another place that is tucked away that we found on Trip Advisor called A Lowcountry Backyard Gill. It had some awesome food also. I will be anxious to hear where you eat and what you think!!

Having a little BBQ tomorrow (only 7 families about 12 parents & 10-14 kids)
most of the kids are in my sons class so it's a get to know the parents night:thumbsup2

When I sent out the invite I sent the food menu,

- London Broil marinated in cracked peppercorn liquid marinade

- BBQ Chicken made in the crockpot

- Dirty Dogs (for the Kids)

- Sausage & Red Peppers

- Buffalo Steaks

- Duck Bacon BLT's

- Cupcakes with Duck Dynasty picture rings

Everyone is bringing a side dish or a dessert so who knows what will be here besides the main course:confused3

Really busy tonight but manageable. SO nice to just stay in the fridge all night and work, no staff bothered me, no drama etc, just everyone worked. What a change from the old store. :thumbsup2

Now I get to enjoy Thanksgiving weekend, heading to Sarnia with in-laws, and a LOT of R&R

Looks like the food will be good, i hope the day turns out good as well!

Just 2 questions, what is a dirty dog? And why aren't you on Facebook? Did you know on Facebook you could post pictures straight from your phone? :rotfl2:

Safe travels Norm. Great picture as well.

Thanks. I keep that picture for easy reference as often as possible.

Steve is 100% correct. The only downside is the drive, which is not very far. I am used to WDW travel and walking to restaurants. We did the low country boil at the Beach house and really enjoyed. The food is not overly great, but it is a fun relaxing atmosphere to eat pool/ beach side and play games.

We made it back safely. The best part with my live trip report is that it is done and I don't have to spend any more time with it. Had some more great first experiences and learned some new tips. Problem when we arrived home - the router is dead. It is about 4 years old, so i guess i got my money's worth. Time to make an early morning run to the store.

Anyone want to volunteer to drive over and do my laundry? Or, better yet, drive me to Ron or Brent's for dinner?

Welcome home. If you find a drive, swing by and pick me up.

Morning, men. Glad you made it home safely, Norm.
We're enroute to Orlando now. Much to my dismay, I did not have kid movies loaded on my tablet Then tried downloading a video, but we were airborne before I could download. Epic failure. At least the flight is just over 2 hours.

And I forgot my bluetooth keyboard. I just wanted to make my TR a bit more challenging.
