I got some news yesterday and had a pretty sleepless night last night. I can't really share any details, but we found out some news that will affect part of our farming operation. Some prayers would be appreciated because some tough decisions need to be made.

1 more sleep. FIL gave us a nice present. I get to his drive his half ton GMC Sierra Crew Cab to WDW. He also gave us a credit card for gas.

At least I am still on the green side of the sod.

I think that may all we may be able to say soon.

And to really make us feel good, a demolition crew is working on the HQs building next door, gutting the south end of the command corridor for refurbishment. Guess that contract was last years money.

And aren't you glad that TS Karen will be waiting for us when we get there Saturday?

Oh, lots of people and businesses have money. It's just the trickle down to the lowly serf employees that is cut off. Should be a hurricane by the time we arrive.

We do the second parade and hang out right in from of the Hall of Presidents. You get a nice brick wall to sit on, the breeze from the A/C when the doors are open and can see the horseman come up the route and then stop in front of the bridge. Not a lot of people there in our 3 parties either. Have fun!

Guess what day it is? It is travel day. I may try to get in a nap this afternoon. I made it to 5:30 AM. I'm taking the dds to school and then packing for the trip. I'm going to try and do the live trip report thing again.

Welcome to Thursday Night Football. I'm happy to have more games on during the week, but the quality of the games and especially the play by play is brutal.

For those that like fairs and such, the Topsfield Fair starts today. 2 weeks of fighting traffic in our area, but it really is a pretty good fair. Lots of exhibits, midway rides, food and shows. We will head over and watch the giant pumpkin weigh in tonight. It's pretty a tradition at this point. This year they have high diving, monster trucks and a couple of concerts to go with the normal tractor and horse pulls, Canadian Mounted Police (yes, we even have Canadians!) and animal educational events.

Bruins are 1-0, Red Sox start ALDS playoffs today, Pats are 4-0 (buffalo lost last night), sunny and 75 degrees. It's a good Friday so far. Everyone enjoy the day.
