Money cutting decision executed. The cable is gone. I will miss ESPN, but will enjoy the extra money. We also did Netflix, so we at least have some old shows to watch.

Honestly, if it wasn't for the kid and the DVR, I'd cut the cable too, between NETFLIX, HULU, and Amazon, every show is on the web.

Saw an interesting item for sale. A bacon scented air freshener. Upside, it smells like bacon and only costs 2.99. Downside, tastes like cardboard if you lose control. Available at Thinkgeek.com

Thanks. The shock still hasn't set it, but it has been a decision we've been pondering for quite some time. The most difficult part for me was sports, but then I realized that I rarely watch many PM games as I go to bed so early and can't finish them. As my dds have aged and enrolled in more activities, I have even less tv time. We still have the Internet and agree that I have been able to find most shows there.

In our area, we get tons of the HD channels over the air. I've yet to be able to cut the cable though, We went without it for 2 months while moving, and I nearly went insane.

After reading all this adoption and getting pregnant talk. . .I think I now understand what happened.

I guess that's why my wife has been throwing up daily for the last month or so.

Doctor said it's natural.

Oh, yeah, we're having another kid. My guys still work.

I did six months ago. Netflix and Hulu plus. I have to wait a day for network shows but it saved 60 bucks a month and espn and disney will surely negotiate content deals with Apple so it will be all good soon

2 losses and a tie in soccer today. Only had one bad half and the rest of the issues was positioning. It's getting better, 2 games and 2 practices this week to get it better.

Tough day. A loss for us as well 2-1, but dd did score our goal. Another day we out played the other team. 4 consecutive wins followed by 3 consecutive losses. Hope to turn it around tomorrow.
