Yea, I should keep the blog up, the kids grow up so quick and I forget so much, it'd be nice to document somewhere.
We actually owe Disney a bit to our adoption choice. We went to WDW for our honeymoon in 2000 and saw a little Chinese girl walking around the bus, with a bunch of non-chinese people. We didn't think much of it really, and she was chattering away, and asked my wife if she was a mommy. Then she pointed out her mommy to us, obviously a forever family. We thought it was cute, but then when we got off the bus and walked up to the park, there was apparently a big Chinese Adoption group meeting, and there were 50+ kids, mostly dressed as Mulan, all gathered at the park entrance. It really struck a cord with us, and when we got back home I started researching, and saving funds to get ready. We weren't old enough to go through the Chinese program(21 at the time), but we knew it cost a fortune to do, so we started saving and getting things lined up.
Really weird thing was when we picked an agency, I told them the WDW story and the lady was like "Oh, yea! October 2000, that was our agency celebrating our 10 year anniversary!"
