Morning everyone

Congrats and good luck with the kiddo!

There was a disturbance in the force testify yesterday, but today it was restored. Breakfast at Ohana, then MK (dole whip included), back to the resort for 30 minutes, then walked to DHS WHERE we hit TSM, TOT, RR and the Jack Sparrow experience and got some dinner. Then a boat ride back to the resort followed by extra magic hours at EPCOT where I got beers from Morocco, Japan and the U.S. managed tho hit Maelstrom and Soarin', too. Nice day. Tomorrow is DD2 BDAY and we're celebrating at CRT. Hoping for another great day.

What a great way to celebrate! Happy Birthday to DD2!

That's better. Happy Birthday to dd.

Good Morning Men!! The weekend is nearly here!!

Yeehaw!

I have never eaten at Bluezoo, I did get my Inlaws a GC a for there a couple years ago, they said it was really good:thumbsup2. It will be pricey there as well:crazy2:

Yes, it will be. I'll have TiW and that will help.

I think a Brazilian tour group gets released in to the wild near the lions. The rest of us get night vision goggles to watch the action from the jeep.

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I'm assuming this is the type of math question in your canadian text books:

In Philly, this is a trick question. Everyone knows that the Flyers wouldn't be able to hit anything with that kind of accuracy.

Since we are talking about Disney for once, has anyone used Garden Grocer for non-DVC stays? Even though we are going to have a car, Melody would rather just have an order delivered. Since I have no idea when our room will be ready, and after check in we are heading straight to the parks, how is the food stored? We are going to need milk and other perishables.

We used them this past summer for a stay at POP. We actually arrived a day late and all the groceries were safely stored at luggage services. They had both shelves and refrigerators for the perishables (including the beer).

Ahhhh, nice calm, casual day, home with the daughter. . .

Someone explain to me how the school can be in session for the holiday on Monday, but then off Thursday and Friday of that same week?

Who cares, I'm not at work.

What are the boundary conditions? Are we assuming zero friction between the squid and the ice? Was it an inelastic collision, ie no momentum lose due to deformation of the squid?

BTW, the answer is 10.59 M/S based on those assumptions. Likely to be less if it's a soft rubber squid.

Andy - what ever came of that big decision you had with the farm a few weeks ago? Anything you can share?

It isn't something that can be explained quickly and easily, and it probably isn't something that I should post publicly anyway. Right now any decision to be made is basically put on hold, but as it stands I don't think there is a decision to make. I know where I stand on the issue, but my choice may not necessarily be the correct decision from a business standpoint. It is pretty much something I'd be doing as an FU to a neighbor. Just don't know if things will work out the way I'd like. :rolleyes1

 Let's eat bacon and drink beer!

[FONT=&quot]Show of hands... how many of you feel like this when you find out you're going to Disney World/Land??

Little Girl's Disneyland surprise make her cry

I remember when we surprised the kids. No tears, but DD was glowing. Watching this, I kind of wish they were young again.

Tough talk when you are up 2 games to 1. Or is it tied at 2 apiece?

2 - 2 now and I am starting to think it's not the Detroit pitching. They just can't seem to hit the baseball this series. Let's see what happens tonight. In my opinion we are playing on house money now. The expectation was a wild card at best after the train wreck last season. Every win closer to the WS title is a bonus. I do think it will be the AL winner that takes the whole thing.

and uhhhhhh how does that work?

:rotfl2::rotfl2: If it works like Peapod here, you go online and select what you want. Once done, you pay for it and select a day and a 2 hour window for delivery. Some services just drop off. Others will actually put the stuff away for you. Never done it at Disney so it may be a little different.

I was wondering about that too.

In any case, I appreciate the need to be vague. But reading between the lines, I do think you should go ahead and leave the flaming bag on his doorstep. :thumbsup2

How was the Jack Sparrow attraction? We had it planned for August, but the wait was ridiculous so we skipped it.

Happy Birthday to your DD! Can't think of a better place to celebrate.

:lmao::lmao: In Boston, we can hit it as long as we are not on a power play.

Enjoy spending the time with your little girl.

A 120mm mortar can make a very effective argument in any discussion or dispute with neighbors.

That's weird, maybe by the same joker who planned all the PA Days this year to co-incide with long weekends, thus making them longer. Friday before Thanksgiving weekend was one, and I found out the Friday before Christmas break will be another. :confused3

Regular groceries get bagged and go into a plastic tote, anything cold or frozen goes in a tote with a foam cooler with the right amount of dry ice to keep temp, I don't know for sure if that is the way they do it down there, but I can't really see many other ways it can be done:confused3
Thanks!

Tim, we used it. Placed our order online and it was waiting when we arrived at AKL. Once our room was ready they brought the food up. They had kept the cold stuff refrigerated until they brought it to us.

Thanks fellas. This is what I was looking for. I still think it would just be easier for me to go out and get what I need since I'll have a car but DW just wants to order it. :confused3
