Hey guys! It's been quite the week. We now have a 1 week old boy at home. I didn't spend much, if any, time on the boards here last week. I spent just a little bit of time over in the pub on the chat, but beyond that I've been out of touch so prayers to those in need and congrats to those who are celebrating.

As for my celebration my not so little guy born at 8:24 am on 10/16, weighing in at a 9 lbs 10z and measuring 21 3/4 in I'd like to introduce you to the starting QB for your 2035 Chicago Bears, Mr Ronald (Ronnie) Myron West:

It messed up that things always happen on a weekend when no one is around:confused3

Anyway Sat night I start to get sharp gum to jaw & ear pain, it's Sat night almost 11pm going to have to wait till Mon, after trying everykind of med we had nothing worked along with no sleep for 2 days:scared1:, so Mon comes along I call out from work and call the dentist who is not in that office on Mon, so the receptionist calls a oral surgeon for me, appt was for 5:30, so after the X-ray he comes in and tells me he can't figure out how I'm still standing 95% would have been in the ER already from the pain, turns out it was my only wisdom tooth left that was impacted against my jaw was abscessed big time, so bad my choices were to have it done right there and now with locals or go across the street to the Hospital and be knocked out. But I wasn't going no where until it was done:eek:
I said how much more could it hurt and took the locals (gas & novocain), now funny thing is I almost fell asleep while they were working on me I was feeling great once the ear pain stopped.

Everything turned out OK no jaw fracture, it will be sore a few more days, I go back to work tomorrow, Having high tolerance to pain has its pros and cons,
pro - made the procedure go quickly without complication:thumbsup2
con - within another day or two the infection would have been life threatening:sick

Was told this was a prime example of why you should get them out around the age of 16, so if you have dental coverage get it done, believe me it will hurt a lot more if they get a abscess ::yes::

Had mine out in Boot Camp. Hated the decision at the time, but after reading that. . .yikes.

Sorry bro.

How long you without beer?

Let's see.....You dropped all the beer in the warehouse. Then you called in because DD was sick. Then you had a day off. Sounds like a normal week to me.:lmao::lmao:

Good luck we're all counting on you!

Heh...she doesn't know about the dropped beer.

It was worse then I thought, she remembers me from when we worked 10 years ago, when I could move a lot faster then I can now. :headache: All good, she CLEANED out the office today, and I think she'll be a bit of a breath of fresh air around, far better attitude.

Hey guys! I know I'm not around here as much anymore, but if anyone is interested, I've posted the sign up thread for the next round of podcast recordings, running through January, 2014. If you're interested, please post in the thread over at the other place. It's just too hard to keep track of bouncing back and forth.

I don't think this old laptop could handle skype, otherwise I'd be all for it.

.Let us know if you need any of us to speak on your behalf, though that might get you all the way to China with that hole :) Good luck

+1 :thumbsup2

Oh yeah, can't see a flaw in THAT plan...:rotfl2::rotfl2:

No worries...

If you do decide to renew let me know... :thumbsup2

Yeah, really sorry, I hate the fact we didn;t get another use of the passes though. We definately will renew it though.

Classic!

I miss that place... enjoy it Nick...

Last time I was there, I believe you ran into my wife and kids in the lobby... while I was grabbing things from the room.

:thumbsup2

The soaps, towels, pillows, tv, anything not nailed down..:rolleyes1

Consider yourself lucky. We lost over 4 hours fixing issues our first couple of days.
I hope they compensated for it, we lost a couple of hours over a few days to fix DW's issues, and got some any-time FPs out of it

Glad they caught it when they did. I had mine out in high school and what little wisdom I had went with them.

Awesome and best wishes to the family on the new addition! I miss having the ones that size around. If you can get him whipped into shape the Bills are getting thin at QB and can put him on the practice squad.

Finally finished with meetings for the day after 11 hours. It wouldn't be as bad if the coffee was decent and I could sneak in some board checking but with only 24 people in the room no chance for that.

I did get to eat lunch with one of the Deputy Under-Secretaries and put in a plug for what we do, but I will never see anything come of it. It is amazing how many levels of bureaucracy there are in the federal government that really spend there days "administrating". It is worse than the academic world. :scared1: I'm not sure what level of hades that is but thankfully I haven't been cursed to have a position like that.

Congrats. . .sucks about the loss to the DeadSkins tho.

Welcome back. It helped already having Spring Break booked, but still a couple more weeks to book fall break next year. 6 weeks? Where you looking to get?

BLT is our home resort, so we are planning to book for next November. We have a week where the school is off on M\T for conferences. We'll try for BLT and ideally get it at the 11 month mark. Then when we get to the date where we can book at the other resorts, we are going to change to VWL or wait list it. That way, if we don;t get it, we'll be content at BLT.

BLT is my favorite of all the DVC Resorts. But, the Contemporary is the resort I always wanted to stay at when I thought about WDW. Unfortunately, I ended up selling the BLT points (have been sent to Disney for ROFR), but we still own at BWV. BWV has the two parks within walking distance, and the standard view stays are really low in points.

Remember, at least the PBR was safe.

It'll be around after a nuclear strike along with cockroaches and twinkies

Forgot to mention, boss remembers when she opened the store, how it was all high end quality stuff, wants the beer fridge back to that state....
