Right now you're looking like world-beaters. The only place where we have a clear advantage is in the National Anthem. I think our guy is awesome.

I think there was a long stretch where we bonded over our mutual World Series drought.

I'm confused, there is no World Series drought in Boston. :lmao:

Let the Disney Blues begin... :(

Back at home after the drive yesterday. Left OKW around 10:45 yesterday morning and with two stops to fuel up, two stops to empty out, and one more stop at the in-law's house to pick up the dog, we pulled into our driveway just a bit after midnight.

It was a great trip and our longest vacation ever. It's nice to be home, but I'd rather be waking up with a view of the fountain and hole 6 of the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course or the Atlantic Ocean. Ah well, back to work for a bit later today to begin the catch up.

Have a Disney Day!

Welcome back! Glad to hear you had a great trip.

Happy Birthday Dave and Audrey.

Today was supposed to be a trip to the zoo but the kids refused to behave last night so they are sitting at home with me. I wanted take the new DSLR camera and cooler backpack we got for Disney out for a spin. So I'm sticking the knife in every once in awhile like, "I wonder how big the tiger and leopard cubs have gotten.

] he's not!

Yeah, what he said :lmao:

Well, it's all a matter of perspective... and from my perspective... :rolleyes1 :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

The real perspective is that my nemesis is older than me. So, with that, David will always be really old. :lmao:

We had an interesting night. Brianas ac is out in her apartment so she is staying with us for a few days. She worked till 11:30pm last night. So I had to pick her up. Which is real cool back by costuming. I got there at 11:30 and at 1:30 sent me a text saying she was sorry I should sleep in the car and she will text me when she gets on the bus. Will do!! Lol
She got off work at 3am!!!!
When the mouse says your working O. T. , your working O. T. Lol

Or, she was out partying at Vista Waaay. :lmao:

Thanks - interesting on how far behind the park the fireworks go off, yet look like they are being launched form the carousel in Fantasyland when watching from Main Street.

Another Disney magic thing, but I'm sure it is for safety. I noticed that when we stayed at BLT, but it is all still good. DW wants to do the keys to the kingdom tour so that she can learn some of the behind the scenes magic. Me, I just want to believe that Mickey Mouse is really just a 5' tall mouse that doesn't talk at the parks, but does talk on some tv shows.

That is the worst part of the WDW vacation. I am going that after we retire FL in another decade, that few hour drive won't be so bad.

Just think about how much older my nemesis is than I am. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2::lmao:

I know... low blow, but he's enjoying Disney World right now while I'm stuck at work so I really don't care. :thumbsup2

Just found out that we made plans to see Monsters U Friday night at the drive-in! Double-feature of that and Man of Steel which I will gladly see a second time. Family of 5, 2 movies, $23 total. Not bad. Only bad part is that Friday is literally the longest day of the year and due to dusk coming so late, the first movie won't start until 8:50. Mandatory naps for my kids Friday afternoon.

I try that stuff too. It makes me feel better, but my two dds already would have forgotten what I had originally asked them to do. My zoo membership is up and I need to renew it,

Well, right now then it stinks, but wait until he returns.

That isn't bad for two movies. We have a drive in close by, but I don't think we have ever taken the dds. Or, of so, it was such an unpleasant experience that I don't want a repeat.

Could not sleep and woke up at 4:30 am UK time. Went to ESPN radio to listen to the end of the Heat/Spurs game. Wow. Tied at 3. May be up very early on Thursday.

Hey CJ! Should be a good game 7, but I don't see how the Spurs win it at this point. Had game 6. All they needed was one foul shot or rebound in the final seconds and got neither. Good luck on Thursday. I can't say I would be sad if the Heat lost, but we are trying to trade our coach so what do I know. Continued wishes for safe travel.

Good morning guys :coffee:

Good Morning and Happy Birthday!

Morning, and Happy Birthday to both yourself and my DD Audrey!

Happy Birthday to Audrey as well. party::bday:

I was skeptical at first, but this is an amazingly well-run operation. Very family-friendly. They don't hesitate to kick out anyone who might take away from another party's enjoyment. In exchange for that, I don't mind abiding by their "no outside food or drink" rule. Regal Cinemas? Not so much. I sneak plenty of food in to a regular theater but since our drive-in's concession stand has nothing over $3.75 I'll honor their rule.

I guess labor laws don't apply to animals.:laughing:

That's a late night when you don't plan on it. Hope she gets to sleep in today.

The best way to cure the blues is to start planning the next trip. Glad you made it home safe. Look at the bright side. If you go back to work you'll have more time for these boards.:lmao::lmao:

They have the batman logo at the top and then little black capes sewn to the back. Sneeky dress yet casually comfortable :thumbsup2

Make sure you tuck the capes into your sneakers. Wouldn't want to give away your secret identity.

We are going Friday night as well. DD demanded we see it in real3D. Already have the tickets for the 4:30PM show. Man of Steel will have to wait until next week.

Both for $23 is a steal. We have a place called Chunky's where you can eat and watch a movie, but no actual drive in's anymore around here.

Hump Day Ownage!

wink, wink. We wouldn't bring anything either. Unless you count the cooler full of adult beverages behind the seat.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Happy 40th David!

Happy Birthday Audrey!

Last night in Shropshire. Lovely time here and lots of memories. We head to Germany starting tomorrow. Tomorrow night we will be in Kent and the following day we board the ferry to Calais. I will try to post a few pictures as we go.

Does it have the window speaker box? Or, do you have to tune in to an AM station with your car radio? I've been to both, but forget which one is the closest. We rarely go to the movies since it costs so much money. I don't paying the concession prices if the experience is really worth it.

Definitely not into the 3D movies. I can keep the glasses on at a WDW show for the 10 minutes or so, but I am ready to take them off. I don't think I could keep them on for a 2 hour. I don't need contact or glasses, or wear any jewelry other than my wedding ring. I know that day will arrive one day (maybe when I am as old as my nemesis).

Radio. Can't remember if it's AM or FM but it comes through clear and has a range of about a mile and a half.
