Just past Atlanta. Stopped for dinner. Should make it to the bottom of Georga tonight. Have not had any rain at all. Been a good trip so far.

More fun news, it appears our Wii is toast? Makes a noticable whirrling sound whem it tries to accept a CD, and rejects them.

DW wants to get one of the mini Second gen Wiis, I hinted at a Wii U. Might see if Dad still has his which is never used, and negotiate for it.

Think I missed it, how were the DDs?

Making good time. I remember eating at a Western Sizzlin' somewhere at the bottom of Georgia, place escapes my name, partial notes mention St. George. What a lousy restraunt. for a "steak buffet" there was little, crappy steak and unmarked, alomst unrecognizable food at the buffet. Server couldnt be bothered to see if we needed refills, or you know, a second plate. Only time I ever walked out of somewhere delibrately without leaving a tip.

Hey guys. Tired today after last night's cardiac marathon. These Hawks are going to kill me with the opportunities they have been giving up.

CJ - sounds like a great trip so far.

Rob / Max - Congrats on the graduation. Next stop, financial ruin. (I mean college)

Brian / Darcy - Nice Meet.

For those I missed: Prayers for those in need, praise for those deserving, bacon for all.

Oh and since Barry and Dave can't respond:

We're you just trying to get the spinners upto air-conditioning speed? :lmao:
:car:

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

couldn't have done better myself!!! :thumbsup2

fed, see you in a few!!! :thumbsup2

Might be the lens, run a disc cleaner thru it a couple of times, that cleared mine up and has worked fine since

Check SDM... The one near me had them on clearance for I believe $99. The full Wii, not the mini, and it included Super Mario Bros.

Don't need SMB, but there is a shoppers by work if needed

:headache: What a Beverly day. Recieved a notice yesterday thatthe super needed accessto the apartment this afternoon to do some checks/repairs for possible storm damage on the building. Apparently there are issues with the corner we are in. I did talk to him yesterday, and mentioned that I never noticed anything wrong, maybe he took it to heart? But the fact of the matter was, I took the day off to be here for nothing, could have accomplished other things, but was waiting. :headache:

Also, it seems the Wii has died, figures, haven't touched it in months, and now, :sad2: Was workinng ikay at first, popped in Beatles: Rockband and played for an hour or so,till the arthritis in my hand ached, and went to switch games, it started to make a whirling sound and just keeps spitting the disk out. Think the drive went, but might try Montyrob's suggestion. Don't want to/can't spend any $$ to replace an aging system, Dad is going to lend me his (he never uses it anymore anyways) till we figure it out. Almost afraid to turn on the Xbox.:rotfl2:

We can at least applaud your driving skills, that despite going that fast, you could still make out the license plate and Disney Family stickers. Now, how many family members were there, what gender, and did they have any pets? :lmao:

Dark Blue. SC Tag. Two Adults, Three kids---couldn't see the gender.

No pet sticker.

:cool2:

Have enjoyed my time on the staycation patio today. Not as hot, but windy. The pool water feels good. Having way too much time on my hands, I stopped counting on the fingers and toes, got out the calculator and figured out how to get two trips in WDW next year. Both would be DVC studio stays, but I could get a week at the Beach Club for Spring Break and a week at Grand Floridean for Fall Break. I know it is doubtful that the GFV will have availability, but it is worth a shot. Now, I just have to figure our how to pay for those pesky things like tickets and food. :lmao: I will need to do that later as it is time to take youngest to soccer camp.

Sounds good. Another option might be to go with a 8 night studio trip for Spring Break. 4 nights in a BCV studio followed by 4 nights in VGF.

Sounds like the Golden Trough, ER um, Golden Corral.

Yes, a permanently borrowed Wii sounds like a great idea.

Impressive. For the millions and millions of the DisneyFed's fans, if you smell what the DisneyFed is cooking.

We eat at the Corral in Port Huron once in a while, and never had issues like at that place. The food is marked at Corral, and good service, but maybe it varies place to place.

Only doing a couple of buffets this trip, not like before.

Best option right now, especially since the borrowed Wii hasn't been touched in like two years. And a whole lot cheaper.
