Can't imagine anyone being tired of a dad posting proud pictures of their child. Good luck to her on her first day.

Made it home yesterday without any issues. Nice vacation. The 24 hour thing was interesting but It took a while to recover. Can not imagine what the people that did the whole 24 felt afterward. Kidani is a great place to stay. Bit tired of the nonexistence of quick serve food options there though. You want to have a quick bite, you need to drive over to or get on the shuttle to Jambo. Good trip though.

Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday.

I think I could manage. I still drive down there, leaving around 3:00 PM and arrive at 7:00 AM. Now, we don't do a park anymore, but we used to do AK on that first day. So, by th time it closed at 6:00 PM, I had that 24 hours in. I would like to try the 24 at MK. I figured I could go sleep in the CoP or PeopleMover a few times to get some rest.

Happy Womb Evacuation Anniversary, MiddlePat!:yay::cheer2:

Thanks guys. We had a blast celebrating DDs and my birthdays down at the world this past week. I'll start a TR later but now I'm beat.

Never tired of a proud papa. Besides we spent 4 hours or so of our 19 hours of driving discussing the college program for our girls and the still have a minimum of 9 years before they are eligible. It was nice to meet you and Briana, Dave.

Happy Memorial Day. Especially to all those that have served including their families.

Glad you made it back home CJ. We arrived this afternoon to 57 degrees and cloudy / rain. I know your jealous. ;)

Great to see you again and meet Adriana.

Very good...hope her first day goes well

BRENT - and all other Dad's who may be in Toronto this fall / winter.

Tickets just went on sale today for the WORLD PREMIER of Disney's ALADDIN.

Here's the pre-sale link...

We'll see how $$ goes by then. DW's boss has some connections to help if we need it, but we've passed up other hows due to money.

Bit of a bummer...just looking around the DIS and discovered that both the Jungle Cruise and Muppet Vision 3D will be down while we're at WDW. :crazy2:

Thanks for posting this Brent, just checked it out and I have a 2 day window to get in MV 3D:thumbsup2

Happy Tuesday guys :thumbsup2

I hope everyone had a good holiday weekend. We got a lot of stuff done, but in doing that stuff we just moved more crap out into the open. It's hard for DW to let stuff go. Our bake sale was a huge success. As we were cleaning up, folks just donated t he books and curriculum they did not sell to us to put in our garage sale in two weeks :cool1:

My garage looks like a library right now :rotfl2:

Happy belated Birthday, Brian!

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. How about that Indianapolis 500? Awesome race! I'm glad to see TK finally get a win.

Deep down, I'll probably miss Jungle Cruise more....what'll all those poor skippers do in their downtime? I doubt updat their repatoire. :lmao:
I guess they could go practice their skills on the Safari in AK. :confused3 :lmao::rotfl2:

Dave, we're definitely not tired of it! I'm excited for her and grateful for the fact that you're letting us experience it vicariously through her! :thumbsup2

Good morning gents, gotta like the 4 day work week for most of us. Trust all enjoyed and had a safe weekend with a few cold ones, some good food and good company. Graduation went well and DD looked great and seemed to just enjoy the journey being over and looking forward to college and the next phase of life. Blackhawks helped to make it a great weekend as well pulling even and forcing game 7 back in Chi-town.

No way anyone can be tired of a DISdad sharing how proud he is. Also, DS is following along as this is something he has hit heart set on doing.

Goon morning gentlemen. :surfweb:

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I worked all of it but still had fun with the family. One morning I asked DS what he wanted for breakfast. He said cereal. When I asked what kid he said "pizza." I think I have a marketing idea to sell to General Mills. :scratchin

Did I miss anything important the last few days?

Happy belated birthdays, congrats to those storming the castle, prayers to those who need them and bacon for all.

Lawd I hate coming to work after a nice long break...

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I understand that there was a missed extraction beacon on behalf of a Dad this weekend...sorry man, I was on Stand Down this weekend:rotfl2:

Ended up fishing right in the area where they were looking for two missing boaters (from separate incidents....alcohol + boats = bad ju ju). Of course, I didn't know that at the time, or I would never have had my five year old anywhere near the joint.

We were out there early morning before the recovery/dive boats had enough visibility to "do their thing".

Some people don't realize how quickly a boat can kill ya.....:(

Jungle Cruise just needs to hold off two days, I'll be at MK on the 20th, then they can knock themselves out

I missed new FantasyLand re-opening by a few days last year. It's been a long year to wait.

We did some cleaning for donation this weekend as well. I would have brought the stuff to you, but that commute is killer. Still a lot more stuff to get rid of.

You missed all our usual intelligent posts. Not sure how the pizza/milk combo will go, but I'm sure they is enough sugar, salt, and preservatives to make it taste good.

Nope, it feels like a Tuesday. :lmao:

I never have figured out what day of the week a day feels like.

‘Morning all…

Missed a birthday I see…
HBD Brian!
Of course you celebrated it at WDW so I suspect you’re not overly worried about whether or not we remembered to mention it this time around.

Hope you got paid extra for working the holidays.

As for the notion of Pizza Cereal…
I can see that being a major hit in the dorm rooms at our institutions of higher learning.
They’re often living on cold pizza anyway.

A day fishing beats any day working.

Glad y’all weren’t anywhere near that alcohol fueled disaster.
Given their nature, boats don’t generally turn on a dime. Combining spend, delayed mechanical reaction time and a potential lack of breathable air with impaired mental faculties and farther delayed physical reaction time will most certainly be listed under the heading of “Bad”.

This Tuesday thing sure feels like a Monday... :faint:

Nope, it feels like a Tuesday. :lmao:

Feels like a Work Day to me.
All Work Days are Bad Days

Don't get paid extra. In fact we can get suspended if we don't show up for holidays. Usually tips are better. We get a free meal in the cafeteria for certain holidays. Thanksgiving is a turkey dinner, steak for Xmas and spaghetti for New Years.

You have some nice neighbors.

What a good neighbour!
Am I the only one who was entertained by the geographical spelling differences in the word "neighbor"? There has to be a Canadian joke in there.

Go ' Hawks. Awesome game. Soft goal on Crawford and stupid penalty by Hossa at the end, but I like our chances tomorrow.

See this?

I just ate lunch with trenner as he was on the way home from WDW.

I'm sure he'll post pics later, but I didn't have a camera!
