Definitely prefer Dunkin Donuts to Fivebucks. Krispy Kremes are great as long as you get the donuts fresh and hot out of the oven.

Good morning gents. Just have to get through tomorrow and then DIS time for 9 nights / days. Looking forward to seeing new Fantasyloand and dinner at BOG plus staying at BLT - all firsts for us. Have a good day Dads and always enjoy all the kid accomplishments and events.

It's not that they over-roast it. If that was the problem, the blonde roast would fix it. Rather, it's the preparation method. The make their money on the fru fru drinks. So they make the "brewed" coffee by the fastest, cheapest method possible. They buy incredibly huge lots of coffee, such that the quality is uneven (partially because they use the same standard blend all the time, rather than adjusting for seasonal availability). Then they grind it too finely for drip coffee, which leads to over-extraction and bitterness.

We don't have any local coffee houses like this. The nearest krispy Kreme is 45 miles away. I'll just have to suffer with Dunkin until then.

Tonight we had attended Amelia's "Fly Up" Ceremony, where she moved up from Brownies into Guides. The other three levels (Sparks, Pathhfinders and Rangers) formed a bridge lineand the Guides stood on one end, Brownies the other, and the Guides called each girl over to join them, going through the tunnel created, very cute (especially the tall girls going through the Sparks, the youngest level.) ]

They can let West go. It will be interesting to see Indiana w/ Granger and Chicago back with all their players healthy.

As for soccer, all our games are on turf so it's much easier for us old guys to keep playing.

Closest league to me is 30 miles away. I don't mind indoor but I'd prefer an outdoor league. The closest one is even further away.

Those little punks must be filthy rich, cause none of did catch them. They pose as engineers to Rolls Royce during the day. Maybe I should have tried catching them there

We use 4 fullbacks and I play on the outside, still have to run a bit. We have 6 teams in our club and we play from early May until late October, typically once a week with the occasional 2 games per week. It is a masters club so everyone is 35 and over.

We have 12 divisions, each division has 8 teams and it is an over 30 league. We are currently in D2, have moved up from D7 two years ago. We are allowed 2 younger guys max on each roster so we make them do most of the running. It's a really tough league to get into. There is a waiting list to get in and new teams all start at D12.

I used to play indoor, too much for me at this point. The hard surface hurts my knees.

I filled in at goalie for a few games last season for a couple of my friends for an indoor league. There were only about 4 of us speaking english and I felt like one of those ducks in a firing range.



I forgot to add. One of the members of the other team got in a fight with the ref and had to be escort out by the armed guards. Fun times.
