Ok... I just added 3 more sequels to the list of movies I want to see...

The ones I was thinking of in particular were Hangover 3 and the new Fast & The Furious movie.

I've never been able to get into Fast and The Furious.

The Blackhawks got the weekend off to a good StarWars, Iron Man, Kentucky Derby and NHL / NBA playoff weekend.

I've been sneaking a little time to read here and there but haven't had the time to really participate in the conversations. Thought I'd pop in for the movie talk. I love movies but since my first DD was born I'm probably only averaging getting to a theater to watch maybe twice a year and usually that is whatever we are taking DD's to see.

Same here... Most movies we go to now, are for the kids.

My DS asked yesterday, when Iron Man 3 comes out... and I told him it was today (yesterday).
Then my DD said, "Daddy asked me if I want to go this weekend, but I said No"
Then my DS looked at her with his eyes pooping out of his head like this: and said "WHATTTT????"

I thought he was gonna slug her...

I guess me and him will be going without DD.

What a day yestrerday. Started with a massive headache, busses were running late and I ended up on the wrong bus (fortunately I caught the mistake in time), and was overly busy as everyone was looking to get outside onto patios etc and drink. One customer quipped "You get a couple of good days and everybody falls off the wagon" Never got any jobs accomplished, so I am sure to hear about that when I am back in.

Oh well, off the next three days. Amelia is selling cookies for a bit with the Brownies/Guides, then we're going to do some light errands about town. Tomorrow going to a BBQ at my parents, helping dad with some chores

Happy Kentucky Derby Day. Norm, I will be tossing back a Makers Mark while they play My Old Kentucky Home before the race. Somewhere on my bucket list is to attend a Derby. My pick is Verrazano so if you are a betting man you can scratch that one off your list. Guaranteed to lose.

It's looking pretty sloppy. I made a crib sheet earlier this week and now just have to sit down and shake the dice to see who my picks will be. Going to try to hit up the OTB this afternoon to grab some betting slips (and hopefully go back tomorrow to claim them)!

Thanks. Going to a derby party today (state law). I did the infield at the derby - smuggle in your booze and watch drunk, topless girls chicken fighting between races. It is difficult to watch the race, but I wasn't watching the race. I would like to toto Millionaire's row one day, if I ever won the lottery and could be there. I haven't even looked yet, but I won $20 last year off the race.

Was just gonna let the board finish its fun on this fine May afternoon but.....
YOU CANT BBQ STEAKS!!!!! BBQ is indirect cooking, using low temps and long cook times. What you are going to do is GRILL them over direct heat with high temps.
Canadians.. so much to learn.

I'm assuming that's the game you're interested in given all the disparaging Maple Leaf pictures you posted a few days back. One would have to be an enormous D*&(@ to do that and then attempt to hop on the Leaf's bandwagon a few days later. Hope your Red Wings turn it around.

Drank plenty for you and CJ and everyone else. Good bourbon and sangria at the derby party. Ate lots of food too. Didn't win any money this year.

Hmmmm...challenge accepted? Steak is already really tender, but indirect heat with a good BBQ sauce for several hours might be fun to try, especially while drinking beer.
